on a side note,, in the movie trainspotting, it was called that (as I understand it) because trainspotting is something that bums do to pass the time, seeing if they can get all the numbers of the trains. Irvine Welsh decided to call his novel Trainspotting, because he felt that, much like doing heroin, the bums were doing something completely useless.

This nye drama is out of control. I have to say, i thionk you guys are making the right decision.

This is actually a fairly common internet messageboard phenomenon. When done well it can be amusing. When done poorly...well it just proves how stupid some people are.

I actually thought the end of JVM's set was a little slow, which is unusual, because mostly I like him very much. But then Sasha came on and tore it up. The whole night was unbelievable. And when it got more believable, about 4:30 am, I took off. But that was okay. I was pleased that the Mayan was open so much later. Nice seeing everyone! Now if only I could get some of this sleep thing I keep hearing so much about....

In LA that weekend we have: 11/8 - Quivver @ Arena 11/10 - Hybrid @ Spundae 11/10 Chab @ Sugar I'm sure there's more stuff around if you check back around that time too.

SF is about 7 hrs away, so peeps go there sometimes, but it's kind of a hike. Some clubs close at 2am (which is when they stop serving drinks), but others, especially the big ones (Giant, Spundae) stay open till 4 or 5 am. There are afterhours, and some are pretty good, but others are crack dens. Post closer to your trip and we'll be able to give more specific info. NYC is awesome, btw (as I'm sure you know ) I went to school there.

I've gotten to see Underworld twice and when your there, you know that no one else in the world is doing something as wonderful as you (and the thousands of other people with you) are experiencing. that's why they're everywhere.

I think that the orginal name of the Paul Simon song is "You can Call Me Al." I don't know if that helps. At the risk of looking like I know way too much about this, Chevy Chase is in the video.

I dance well a lot of ways, but not so much on e. Sometimes though, I get really high just by dancing. I don't know if it's muscle memory or endorphins or what. Damn cool though. (Cheap too!)

There are so many! I guess I would have to say "Dirty Epic" by Underworld.

That version of The Silence is so average. If you want a good version, the one on the import version of S&D's Expeditions is awesome. I think the new Gcrasher is okay, but I don't get all excited about it.
