  1. Hella yea! I heard that Divine has the SECRET SAUCE, and will administer it in the mix this evening!
  2. Stars of the Lid- 'Music for Nitrous Oxide' ! Waaaaay chill...
  3. '45' by Bill Drummond of the KLF. Pretty interesting insights on the music biz!
  4. I don't think so. Sure you can hook sensors up to your head (like an EKG) but you can't intentionally modulate your brain waves to control devices unless you're the kind of person who can control their own heart rate, bend spoons, walk through walls, etc. For the normal Joe this isn't really possible yet. Nice idea though.
  5. Whew, what a night! We tried to sneak in at Nation with no luck and then hopped over to 5 around 11:30. The place was packed! I don't know who was DJ'ing there before Oakey, but he was in top form! If anyone knows who spun before Paul Oakenfold showed up, let me know! Anyhow the place was pumping and our dear friend Paul showed up around 3:30am and proceeded to blow the place up. I have never witnessed Paul Oakenfold at a small club before and I gotta say it was Wicked! Sure he played a typical Oakenfold set, but the vibe was awesome, everyone loved it, and I was dancing my ass off on top of the speakers!
  6. yeah, you missed a night that made you wish you lived near Sheffield! Tops all around.
  7. That's too funny, I didn't think of it that way. So, what DO you want to see instead?

  10. If you can, bring your own slipmats, vinyl , and cartridges to test them out. Sometimes people tweak the pitch control to get +/-15%, and you may get spots on the fader that are at 0% when you are off the true zero mark.
  11. I have a pair of Sony MDR-7506's which are a bit more compact than the 700's (not as flashy though), and have a nice flat frequency response. You can find 'em for around 100 bucks.
  12. Also, -The number of licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop: 238 (under certified conditions) -Dimples on a golf ball: lots -Mosquitos have 47 teeth -State motto of Alabama: 'Yes, we have electricity' -no one has ever died from smoking marajuana
  13. Erm, GC has come and gone as far as NYC is concerned. But thanks for the warning to those who missed a blinding night!
  14. OK, I want to hear this from everyone. Imagine a new nightclub was to be built, and you are the architect. Tell me what physical elements would make the ideal nightclub. Do not include Dj's, or other personnel like security (that's for another topic). I want hear things like where's a good place to put the bar, balconies, VIP room goodies, cool furniture, bathroom wishes, lickable wallpaper, etc. Say whatever you think would be really cool to have in a club. I'm listening...
