braving heavy traffic on 395 and the unfavorable by products of the source awards...i went to acostanation's last night at shadow....it was wierd hearing GA play some of those "old" songs...goddamn it was hot in there!!!! (i'm talking temperature) i didnt stay until the end so i was wondering how GA ended his set...

the funk is back...the sarge will be at the temple on sat!!!

i just saw a sad show on tv...it made me think about not being mad...so...i want everyone to know that i love them....(a nonsexual kind of love--for the dudes at least)

at a very unhappy time in my life--i discovered the Mix and Shadow lounge...its funny because i lived in miami for 6 years and then moved away and discovered those places while i was living in Boston... i would fly down almost every other weekend just to go to shadow and the mix...they gave me a lot of happiness and a diversion from the shit i was going through...the mix closed and now shadow...the scene will never be the same for me.

as i get older , i see and hear a lot of stuff i that just really pisses me off..i normally keep my mouth shut because most of it is really none of my concern...but, you know what?...this message board is my concern and i am going to open my mouth-- i relate everything to how and where i grew up and how i was taught to act and how i try to act...for a man to f'n put up 1/2 naked pics of yourself on the internet is vain/egocentric/conceited and just f'n dumb....and to talk in the idiotic "my playas and girlies" is just moronic, wannabee bullshit.......this is all coming from me--- a 33 year old man who grew up in Washington Heights in NYC where any 4 foot punk talking any of that sh*t, walking around showing his "abs" would not have lasted a second.....and in case you are wondering about me being a "hater"----im a former pro wrestler at 270lbs...now about 220..nothing to "hate" except the egotistical BS..........save the fucking photos for the personal ads, and cut the shit....

saturday night is Accostanation's last night at Shadow...I heard that GA will be starting a monthly residency at Level and i wouldnt be surprised if he starts spinning at miami's superclub downtown...however, GA's saturday nights at Shadow were special ones for me..they were so full of energy and gave me something to look forward to during those aweful days (mon-friday) almost a year to the day of the closing of the mix...kind of sad...i want to thank all of the staff at shadow for the good times over the last 2 years for me...

ok guys...anyone from the board interested in meeting up on aug. 24 (friday) at Space?? should be a slammin night...

if you checked out GA's website it says that his last date at Shadow is in sept....anyone know anything??

more confusing elements to the story.....i asked a friend of hers to tell her that i had been asking about her a few days before i was going to see her..her response had been receptive....when we were at the club, before everybody got f'd up--she was totally into me and i asked her out and she said yes...everyone confirmed that she did not have a boyfriend.....the big question is "where do i go from here".......i have no way to call her...the channels that i would have to go through to get her number would kind of make me appear "desperate"...i wont see her for 2 weeks...when i do see her should i ask her what happened or should i just play it off like nothing ever happened??

the most confusing thing is that it was all her...i totally kept away from her and she came after me.....

forget about anything else...i want to know who that girl DJ on all of the billboards and buses for power 96 is...she can spin my two 1200s anytime!!

you know what they say happens after a bunch of guys sit around the campfire telling gay jokes......

instead of the fog horn they should position me up above the dj booth..(only after ive eaten 3 gorditas and a nachos belle grande) when the dj wants to blow the horn...they should push my belly and let me fart out at the crowd...i guarantee that it would be a louder noise than the fog horn........at least i offer practical solutions!!
