I am torn about the Return of the Tunnel... I appreciate Peter G throwing down some serious money to try to get Tunnel back in the mix once again. I loved that place for three years straight! I was a Tunnel rat as well... I hope that Tunnel does make a return and throws down as hard as before. In my opinion, Tunnel was the scene for awhile... had the best crowd, music, and love... I first learned on a pair of shitty Gemini T-tables... I would suggest going a cheaper route IF you are going to teach yourself. (no sense wasting so much money on needles and such to learn... If someone is going to teach you or you learn then move on to something better... Technics SL1200 or 1210s are sweet... very smooth and very easy to control. Best of luck!
