Crossy - I am sorry to hear about your situation... never is fun. However, it is good to hear that you are comfortable enough with this girl to tell her your thoughts and feelings. No offense... but why not discuss this with him? I can competely appreciate and understand why you ask for advice ... most of the people on here are very intelligent and have great experiences to share. However, one way that you and your partner will become closer is if you COMMUNICATE well... this might be a perfect subject to COMMUNICATE about... I see nothing wrong with asking "so, what do you think about us?" Harmless question... do not make it seem like his answer dictates where the relationship is going next... make him feel that it is ok for him to answer either way. I believe you could... I think people are in such a rush... I mean when you meet someone that you "click" with... then you start thinking what the next step should be. Why does there have to be a next step? Why can't there be months of casual dating and getting to know the person better. Slowly falling for each other... because everyone is so worried that the person they just met might pass them by. My 2 cents are some people should be more patient and learn to better communicate with the person they are interested in or involved in. That is why there are some confused people out there... people start hanging out and they usually on two different pages. No offense andwhysee... however I don't agree. I don't think people should settle for less than what makes them happy and content. If someone has gone through the time to really focus on what "type" of person they are looking for... then they should stay their course. Sooner or later they will find someone who meets their needs. I am looking for someone who will fit in my life and I will fit in theirs.... someone to grow with not just date... someone who will be supportive as I will be to her... someone to share my days and nights with... I had the trip planned out last year and then last minute I had to back out... I was very annoyed. My friends that went had a great time however they told me that if they were to do it again they would not stay more than 4 days. What I hear is that Louisiana in general is worth seeing... so I would suggest planning some day trips while you are there - NOT just partying... I am going to N.O. on business next month. Feb 4-8... I think everyone has a cause of 'em today. Everyone I talk to seems to have a problem getting focused on what they have to do today! I am trying to work and truth be known.. I am getting a good amount of work done. However I wish I was in bed still sleeping... My co-worker, edge420, in the next office and I think he is sleeping... Well I used to spin a lot more than I have lately... My understanding is it completely depends on the DJ. Some DJs are very passionate about music and will throw down what ever they feel... some DJs are very passionate about MAKING music and they usually have more ownership of what they throw down. When I first started spining, I used to spin what ever I thought I would love to hear on a dance floor... then when my buddy and I started making beats... then I got more passionate about music in general. A whole new appreciation for music. Now I notice things in songs that others might miss. In short... I really believe that it depends mainly on the DJs and his/her style. Actually... I work in Bergen County and the company I work for is in the same building as the production offices of "ED" on NBC. One of the main producers or writers has a black lab who lounges around the hallways... It's funny when you are on a phone with a customer and then thru the doorway comes a black lab into your office. Shout out to the black lab, "Rocket" LOL ------------------ One Love...
