My thoughts are that if you do not like the Tunnel... then you have not been there enough! lol I mean I loved Tunnel the first time I ever stepped into the place... however not everyone is like that. Tunnel definately grows on you... Hell... how could you hate on a club that has a "fuzzy room"? lol I would meet up with you peeps on Sat... JV is throwing down right? ------------------ One Love...

I agree for the most part... later it gets the better the MUSIC (DJs) get... However, there are times that I can not get myself to clubs early EVEN if there is a DJ that I want to hear... call me lazy I guess. 2 years back when I went to Tunnel EVERY weekend... I hardly showed up before 3 am... by that time the BEATS would hit your chest once you turned the corner of 27th & 11th... ------------------ One Love...

Just curious... How many people on these boards go to the clubs early (10pm-11:30pm)? How many come 2nd shift (11:30pm-1:30am)? How many come 3rd shift (1:30am-3:30am)? I have to go back a lil bit... back to some lesser know DJs however they turned me onto the MUSIC ... before them I was just hearing beats. GOOD Fake IDs are becoming harder and harder to come across. Where have you tried thus far? Do you have an older sister or a friend that looks at all like you? HAHA that is so true... Mad heads come home from school and like cynstam21 said to use thier "new fake IDs"... also MOST bars stay open later and offer drink specials. Clubs pump a little extra hard and serve up more intense DJs... Almost everyone out tomorrow night will not think twice about coming home in the A.M. and deal with family the whole next day, still F**ked up... haha Gotta love tradition.... ------------------ One Love...

I live in Montclair, NJ... I work in Bergen County, NJ... both are very nice. Montclair is a great college town... lot of bars and places to eat. Bergen County also offers alot of entertainment and food. Both can be VERY expensive esp right now with the market being so rich! ------------------ One Love...

Why should there be only one person to take her out? We should all take her out and make sure she has a great F**king time... Wednesday is the biggest party night of the year. With enough conects we can get in to mad different clubs and check out the scene at them all... We should do a "Club Crawl".. we literally crawl from spot to spot throughout the night/morning... One lover to all who love to dance and show peeps what they got... I have to say I am a new person on these boards however been in the scene for almost 8 years now. I love what dancing brings into your life... Just4themusic.... I could not agree more... I have been going to clubs in NYC since I was 15 yrs old (23 now)... I remember a different scene. Not saying that it is bad now... I love music and I will continue to show my support for MUSIC and DJs. I am also not going to tell old stories about the "good ol days" ... however there is a different mind set now... Used to be: #1 - You went to the spot for the specific DJ #2 - You went to dance #3 - Oh look, there is some drugs here... Now it is more like (not EVERYONE - just SOME): #1 - What club can I get drugs at easiest? #2 - You want to dance (on drugs) #3 - Hey, guess who the DJ is tonight? You feel me? I remember days of Out Law parties in the back of Tractor Trailer Trucks... or LimeLight's Disco 2000 party on Wednesday nights and then leaving there to go to school... trading stickers... I have been there before.... I went about three weeks ago on a Saturday. I like the layout... simple.... I like the crowd...kind... however the DJ that night was off! Now maybe it was just a night off however the mix of music was very "bar-ish". Meaning... it changed from house to hip-hop to old school songs to songs I HAVE never heard nor would want to hear... at one point the DJ messed up and the music COMPLETELY stopped... he had to start it over. Like I said maybe it was just an off night or a different DJ (not resident). OVERALL... I did have a good time... there was just enough space to dance your ass off... and like I said the crowd is good. Many ladies... Enjoy... ------------------ One Love...

No doubt.... I was actually there last weekend with bwags... that set was definately worth having! I can appreciate club god's hustle and trying to "make that money" ... however we should all work together and spread the love of the music.
