  1. We're tryin to stay away from mainstream...except on Tuesdays ladies night which will still not be THAT mainstream.... I really do have to update the music section on the website...shit's been crazy lately. I'll probably get my guy on it next week after the opening..put up pics..do all kinds a shit Wednesday night, we're going for a TOTALLY different feeling than all the other nights...it's gonna be more loungy See ya there. -Adam
  2. Sergio- Thanks a lot! I'll pass the message on to Pete. -Adam
  3. It will be 23 for guys only on Saturdays, but this weekend is 21 for everyone because it's the grand opening.
  4. What up G-Money- It is MY understanding that it is up to the specific town to decide what time bars/clubs can remain open until; which is what happened in Sayerville w/Bunkas. For example, R-bar in Woodbridge remains open until 3 am. So, let me remain optimistic...and maybe one day it will happen. *shrug* right back atcha... Nuthin' but luv- -Adam
  5. That's why you gotta go to Sound Factory after!....or Exit...whichever floats your boat.
  6. Yeah..it's just funny to see how rumors get started....but that's the kinda stuff every club has to deal with. Even funnier is that soooooo many people think the club is that little place on the corner. My friend just called me and said "so what does that place fit a few hundred people". I was cracking up. I'm like "No, No...it's not that little place...it's huge... 12,000 sq feet. I really can't wait to see people's reaction on opening night. It's gonna be open from 8-2am....and til 5am on New Years Eve.
  7. Oh stop...it's 100% confirmed...I'm looking at the signed contract right now...and it's on his own website.
  8. Cool:D I moved to Ewing Twp, and it doesn't come in down here! So I can't even listen when I'm at home
  9. Has anyone heard the advertisements on KTU?....just wondering...we started them on Wednesday night.
  10. JV is still spinning....dec 8th, as planned. See you there, Tek.
  11. G Money- What's the new weekend parking policy? -Adam
  12. ibclubbin- We have our residencies set up, but we will be having plenty of guests, big names on the weekends and others during the week, so feel free to stop by and drop off a CD or email music@clubplatinumonline.com to talk to our resident and music coordinator. -Adam:)
  13. That's not where it is. It's on the side of Paterson street. Not at the intersection. 12,000 square feet. That Chinese restaurant is gonna be turned into an Italian Restaurant. And there's a 1000 car parking deck right next to it....????? But thanks for your well researched feedback. See you there
  14. Opening night will be Saturday, DECEMBER 8th, 2001 !!!!!!! Check out our Beta site. It's still being modified, but WTF! Club Platinum Beta Site
  15. We're all getting pretty anxious as well. Being invloved in this thing for this long, I can't beleive it's only weeks away. I want November to be over already!
  16. New Construction is a pain in the ass, Spygirl! That's all I can say. Murphy's Law-If something can go wrong, it will. That along with getting the correct permits is what caused us to change the date. It'll be worth it, though. I promise.
  17. Johnny Vicious will be spinning at Platinum's grand opening in December. Opening for him will be resident DJ Mark Amatucci. I'll post the specific date once we get our CO(prob next week). http://www.clubplatinumonline.com
  18. What up, John! It's Adam from Platinum. For everyone out there, Gaebles is def. a chill place. We went out there one night to check out John. He did a great job. Chill house music. Food's good too! Def worth checkin out. -Adam
  19. If anyone has experience in the following areas and is interested in working at a new nightclub in central Jersey, feel free to contact us: bartender dancer barback shot girl individual promoters Only experienced personnel will be considered. contact info: info@clubplatinumonline.com
  20. Moderate size. Capacity is around 1000 people. You're right-Bunka and Abyss are definitely central Jersey. Both are nice venues, but the more variety/more clubs there are in central NJ, the more reason for people to travel from other places to come to the area. That's what I'd like to see happen. In terms of music, the style at Platinum is gonna be different. Better or worse depends on your preference, ofcourse. Chris- Yes, this is Adam from HH. G-Money-lol...it'll be all good.
