So I watched this Bio thing on Michael Alig the other day, and couldn't help falling in love with him. God, maybe I am just sick and perverted, but I think Alig was.is exzactly what this city needs. Where has all the fun gone? Giuliani has taken his toll. Do you think that a Michael Alig would even have a chance in New York? Just sitting and watching all of the mayhem I was instantly drawn to Michael's antics, and I know that if I had been in NYC in the early to mid 90's I would have been right there alongside the club kids, partying my ass off. In New York, where the greatest sin is being boring, what's wrong with fame for fames' sake? While I don't agree with Michael's killing of Angel, and the way he and Freeze handled it, I think Michael was such a figure that he, in the eyes of fellow club kids, and me, could get away with murder. Ummm...yes and no. I think that Centro-Fly is a nice place to go on a thursday night and hear some nice musik, but as far as a party spot, I just don't think that Centro-Fly has it. I think that the isolation of the DJ Booth really limits my enjoyment. Having the booth up above and so far away from the crowd bothers me. When I'm out, I'm there for the Music, and I like to connect with the DJ by being able to see him/her. Just my thoughts...... ------------------ www.Hardhaus.com
