    Kujo/Jacob's my best friend here in Cali. He took me in when I arrived on the West coast back in June, an East coast transplant with 2 suitcases and $500...

    Heh... it is a sad kitty face, weyes.

    There was only one lane in the direction I was going... I didn't pass him, I was behind him the whole time. Does that make sense?

    Maybe people were throwing the $271 to scare me... I mean, anything under $100 I would pay, but $271 is sooooooo much money. :(

    Is community service an option? Because I would DEFINITELY go for that... and possibly traffic school as well, if necessary.

    I was following a truck with mad exhaust fumes by Venice Beach this past weekend... I seriously couldn't see far ahead of me, and the truck was going SO DAMN SLOW. After I passed him, there were flashing lights behind me...

    The cop pulled me over for a "rolling stop" through a stop sign. He gave me a ticket and told me to make a court date... I asked around, and some people told me it would be $271!!!!! TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE DOLLARS!!!!! Is that true? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

    I really can't afford that right now, and I sure as heck can't afford the insurance hike. Does anyone know what the best way would be to go about handling something like this?

    P.S. In club-related news, I went to the 3 of Spades, the Beauty Bar, and Club A.D. last weekend. Club A.D. was celebrity-packed, bumped into Jessica Simpson in the bathroom... she was really cute, wearing a black fishnet top and purple bra.

    It's true. I went out with a cop a couple times, and he broke all sorts of traffic rules... sped, ran red lights, etc. He explained most officers abide by an unspoken buddy system... if you get pulled over, just show your badge and there won't be any questions or problems.     Before Fox Television turned him into "Joe Millionaire," the eligible bachelor supposedly worth $50 million, Evan Marriott earned spare change modeling skimpy briefs for a California firm specializing in revealing swimwear, thongs, and leatherette underwear. Marriott, whom Fox describes as a $19,000-a-year construction worker, posed in November 2001 for California Muscle, a Los Angeles-based firm that sells its racy garments via a bi-annual catalog and web site. Marriott, as shown below, was snapped wearing a $26 Posing Suit. He can also be seen in a very snug $36 Arabian Boxer that leaves little to the imagination (the young and impressionable may want to avoid the photo on page two), and a $12.99 Gladiator Brief. According to Simon Nicholson, vice president of California Muscle, "Evan was short of cash and looking for work. He had a great face so we did a shoot with him." Nicholson said Marriott was paid about $1000 for the session, during which he was also photographed in a variety of bathing suits and underwear. Since 1987, the L.A. company has been selling "men's body and fantasy wear," including the Libido Boxer, Piston Thong, and Goliath String. Marriott was referred to California Muscle by Paula Crane, a photographer who specializes in portraits of male and female bodybuilders.
