  3. march 10th is a wednesday just FYI...u may have messed up a vacation day
  4. roneys a phat hotel...i stayed there on memorial day 2001..i went the day after i graduated college so it was bananas...unfortunately like theres WMC down there memorial day weekend is the Source Awards weekend (at least it was that year)...so it was kinda dark if u know what im saying...nonetheless i was still able to have a sick time avoiding the hiphop nigga nonsense even though we were the only white guys down there...rooms r sick at roney...only problem is that its a bit of a walk from everywhere...during WMC if u blink ull miss something so im stayin in the center of everywhere on 9th and Ocean at the Breakwater...Roney should be a good time though...tons of people staying there including by boys from Brooklyn...see yas all down there
  5. puffy had lets get ill bilboards in ibiza i heard. Thats fact...saw it with my own eyes on the road to San Antonio
  6. what the hells been going on wit them...ever since the new opening they havent been doing much promotions or pulling in much mindblowing talent like they used to...granted there have been a few good DJs but the whole month of november seemed like it was all re-runs with the DJs that were there....the crowd has been lacking too...i preferred the GBH night on a Friday also...anyone got a lineup for anything coming up?
  7. dont bother urself...that badge means jackshit...the actual conference they have is also not meant for regular clubgoers...its an industry thing that we as clubbers (or at least me as a clubber) wouldnt care for...its DJs actually sitting at a panel answering questions
  8. whats up bro...glad to see some UK party people comin threw...i partied with u guys in ibiza the last 2 years...within the next few weeks the parties will be announced....the best site for it is miamimasterlist.com...u can sign up now and they will email u whenever new events pop up...as far as what type of house i like, i really cant point to a certain genre but i think u guys will love miami...its the closest thing we have to ibiza and that week will definitely feel like it...only problem is that theres so much going on ull wind up missing alot of great parties...what hotel u guys staying at...i can give ya some info on it...ive been the WMC the last 2 years and ive been to south beach 3 times in total...one party that ur gonna miss it looks like is the Radio 1 party which always is great...im flying in the day before WMC starts just for that one....cheers mate

  11. Radio FG from france is bananas Ministry of Sound Radio Proton Radio Radio 1 of course (but only from Friday-Saturday)
  12. whats the difference in comparison to flying into Miami International...and how much is it to go from miami international to SoBe and Ft Lauderdale to SoBe (by cab)

  16. Thank u brotha...this asshole forgets that they r "the beat of new york"... and i did know that they were based there but what does that have to do with who theyre supposed to represent...its almost how the giants and jets play in jersey but r still new york.....the guys still using mother disses too like hes in 2nd grade...bro u can talk about my mom all day ya corny prick...and i know that theyre in it for the money...thats common sense....why else would a dance station be playing hiphop like hot 97 for....and the other point about jersey being a sewer is true no matter how ya slice it...i wasnt referring to that stank just the state in general...Staten Island is Jersey in my mind too
  17. went the last 2 years....all i can say is that u come back a changed person....American lifestyle will be in question at all times...them europeans just know whats up man...check out DC-10 on Monday afternoons.....its amazing...i met Danny Howells in there after his set...bought him a beer and chatted for a bit...mad cool guy...anymore info u need feel free to ask
  18. i got a whole shitload...i got ones from here of course, miami, Ibiza, Montreal...we should start a thread where we post our best ones or something cause id love to have some old Twilo ones
  19. tell them that theyre the worst "dance" music station i ever heard...they sound like Z-100 and promote more to that sewer of a state, New Jersey than they do to the capital of the world NYC where theyre based
  20. 1. first off its nowhere near as dead as people make it sound...i still have great times when im out but there is a difference in clubbing back in the mid to late 90's than there is now 2. when im out though i see alotta people just standing around like statues...the only reason i go to see a big named DJ is to dance my ass off...that was the twilo vibe or part of it. yes i did say that i wish we could get it back but nowhere did i bitch about it as i back up with my first statement...of course i would like to have that back but im not dwelling in the past like alotta others my second point shows that im still keeping part of the twilo vibe (at least in my eyes) alive..what else i can do as a clubgoer i have no idea....if u notice i blame 2 things...the people that r out for not having that up for it attitude like there used to be... and the second is that music via mediums like the internet have made the underground sound of house music a bit more mainstream whereas when these mediums werent around back then it was more like "holy shit what the hell is this"...how the hell would i try and fix either one of these...why dont u offer ur opinion if ur such a smart ass
  21. first off its nowhere near as dead as people make it sound...i still have great times when im out but there is a difference in clubbing back in the mid to late 90's than there is now....i tend to think more of the clubbers rather than the club itself...NYC has had some of the best talent in to world pass threw it in the last few weeks and always has...just for example in the past week and a half i saw Roger Sanchez at Centro Fly, Darren Emerson, Pete Tong and Steve Lawler at Avalon...and those were just the headliners...Hybrid and Chris Fortier and others were undercards for these guys who r no slouches by any means...not to mention i could have went to other clubs like vinyl for Danny Howells and other big names that were here.....everyone saying how bad it is to not have twilo around anymore and i agree...twilo was probably the greatest club well ever see but why cant we have that anymore....its not the physical space of these clubs that make it wack...crowds in these places just dont seem up for it...in twilo that dance floor would be jumpin nonstop...drugs also have alot to do with why clubs were better even though ive never done a drug before...to be honest u can still get drugs in anywhere...those searches barely do anything...when im out though i see alotta people just standing around like statues...the only reason i go to see a big named DJ is to dance my ass off...that was the twilo vibe or part of it...also dance music is more popular with the internet...u can now listen to Pete Tong every Friday or Ministry of Sound Radio from London, Radio FG from France etc...or u can download all this new stuff off Soulseek...music isnt as mindblowing as it used to be due to this...someone else share their opinion
  22. ill second thata one...actually i already did in my first post on the first page of this thread....i went to Pacha 4 nights out of 6 that i was there...Rogers night was by insane...best night i had down there was Underwater on Tuesdays...Darren played a mind blowing set...i ate at the restaurant on wednesday for Subliminal which was one of the worst nights ever...Morillo and Deep Dish just sucked...the highlight of Sanchez's night had to be when he closed out with Another Chance...the place went bananas
  23. snow is barely falling...main roads arent bad...city is fine...im still going to lawler...all u cornballs stay home
