I tell ya somethin...ya cant have it all year round obviously but from May til October u sure can work with it...i just went down to Miami this weekend to see the King of All Tribal Beats Steve Lawler rock the Space terrace...ive been there a few other times in the past like for the Deep Dish / Danny Howells party (Steve Lawler played a very mediocre set on the terrace i might add...sounded like Pete Tongs radio show)...regardless of that though, the vibe and the simple fact that ur outdoors in gorgeous weather with hot hot girls going nuts was the greatest thing about it...i stayed til 1130 Sunday morning...i could never do that here especially since i dont do drugs...now i know NYC has noise regulations but theres gotta be some way to get that type of thing here...Exit had a rooftop which i thought was mad cool...they didnt have any good music up there or any good DJs either but thats what im getting at...we need it NY...the vibe is amazing...dancing til the sun comes up with smokin hot girls...amazing amazing night...heres 2 links http://miami.2night.com/home.asp?Canal=Discotecas&AlbumID=10580&Titulo=Steve+Lawler+Bday+Bash+%40+Club+Space&Fecha=Saturday+Jun+5 http://www.co*****kie.com/galleries/venue_miami_space_steve_lawler_3088.html

ya know its mad funny...i just went to south beach for the weekend to see Steve Lawler...me and my buddy were eating breakfast in the terminal talking about his trip to Ibiza...one guy overhead us talking about Todd Terry and jumped in the conversation...then we saw he had record bags....turns out after chatting with him that it was DB...now im not a fan of drum and bass but this guy was the man....he was gonna give us a ride in his limo but it never showed up and then he comped us for a poolside party he was spinning at the Delano (very foo-foo, chi-chi hotel)...great guy though so go out and support people like this

u mean to tell me spirit actually have a crowd in there this friday...i went a few weeks ago for behrouz and there were about 20 people there...i heard it was like that the next few weeks on fridays as well...hopefully fridays fill up cause the talent is definitely there...pissed i missed satoshi..ive been dying to see him

doesnt say on his gig guide...he hasnt been here since december which is strange cause he spins in NY a few times a year....last summer he did centro flys basement on a tuesday in june and july for $5...it was awesome....now that ibiza is coming up he usually does his show from cafe mambo and his clubnight "pure pacha" every friday so hes limited as to traveling elsewhere although he did make it to NY last year while in ibiza so who knows
