Centro Fly will truly be missed....never had a bad night in there....great crowd, incredible talent and DJs every week...its was a club that signified NYC...next to Twilo that was by far the best club and the last of the great clubs that made NYC a great clubbing place...fuck Arc without their liquor...Centro Fly was getting world attention from places to London to Ibiza...how the hell it closes ill never know...now were left with wack-ass Crobar and the "revitalization" of 27th Street with all these fu-fu chi-chi clubs like Marquee, Crobar, Quo, Spirit etc etc...thats not NYC nightlife, thats pop culture bullshit

Carl rocks...should have never left Centro Fly...him and GBH made that a world renowned club...now it doesnt even exist

besides Centro Fly being my favorite club, this weekend will be a tragedy for NYC...theres officially no clubs left that made NY the legendary place it was for nightlife...i just dont understand how this shit happens...in the past 3 years Twilo, Tunnel, SF, Centro Fly and Vinyl/Arc r gone....now while i wasnt a huge fan of some of them, they signified what NYC nightlife was all about...people from all over the world would come to NYC just to go clubbing...now what do we have, Crobar...cmon man that shit is a joke even with the DJs they pull in...their sets have sucked and the crowds a bunch of statues...Avalon is somewhat good although i havent been there since December...i just cant figure shit out...im not comparing by any means but if u go to the UK, this shit doesnt happen anywhere near as much as it does here...clubs like turnmills, the cross, fabric, gatecrasher, sankey soaps have been open for years and r trademarks of UK nightlife...ours either change their name, change management, renovate, etc etc...someone explain what the hell is going on cause ya got me

occasionally i do...im the ER Coordinator at a hospital in Brooklyn (which is a 24/7 job) ...i do that part time and i work another job (my old job hired me back) from tuesday til thursday part time...i was laid off for 7 months now i have 2 jobs so go figure...now i work 6 days a week...moneys great too...the over night shift is the easiest shift to work and has the nicest staff...the only problem is it fucks ur body up

last year lawler was the weekly We Love Sundays at Space resident on the terrace...he would close it out every Sunday...amazing...i was there Radio 1 weekend...like i said..words cant describe...also check out Underwater with Darren Emerson at Pacha on Tuesday...that was the best party i went to last year

playa d'en bossa defintiely the best spot to stay...u can walk to space and bora bora and its the only reasonably priced place..san antonio is way overpriced and ur not really near anything to do during the day..ibiza town is classy but also nothing to really do during the day....id rather spend my money taking cabs at night than in the day to get to clubs like pacha, eden, el divino, etc etc./...by the way DC-10 is so sick u cant even put words on it...and if u dont make We Love Sundays at Space, then u havent had the whole ibiza experience...like i said before way too much to write on Ibiza..just make sure u have an AC or a fan in ur hotel cause mine the last 2 years didnt..and this past summer was the heat wave in europe that killed mad people...i was there when the blackout in NYC happened...if u thought that was hot, that wasnt shit compared to dealing with about 10 degrees warmer without an AC or a fan for 8 days

u would have to talk to me in person about ibiza cause theres too much to write...put it ya this way....u never come back the same...moneys a non-factor overthere...meaning that while everythings expensive, u have no problem paying top dollar because the quality is top notch...and that goes for everything from clubs, to clothes to food...ull always have the memories in ur head...everything this other dude said is valid as well...check my signature...ive been there the last 2 years and hoping i can make it back this year...ughh i would be so upset if i couldnt but it would be for reasons totally outta my control, otherwise id be there 110%...by the way to the guy who just posted...u must have met a generous italian who gave ya the pure MDMA cause ur eyes r buggin in that pic...there were giving them to us for free over there (although i dont do drugs)

vicious was originally my favorite DJ who got me started on house music...i remember listening and taping him on the KTU sancutuary on Saturdays.. initially when most people i know got into it, it was the local talents that we started listening to and then expanded onto international talent...stuff i call cheese now was the shit i loved back then but i guess u have to start somewhere ya know...back in 98, 99 i would look for clubs where he spun just like i look for DJs like Steve Lawler, Danny Howells and Darren Emerson now or days...but JV is garbage once u expand ur horizons
