1. Eat, Sleep and Poop huh? That's all I do every day too. And you know what you are right, it is very tiring... ------------------
2. Kim, looks like you are the only girl that's interested Tranceaction, this babe of the week could never get tired... I suggest you take that back... B ------------------
3. Kim, you know I'll be there... After the little research you did on the place and everything, how could I let you down... Der, Looking forward to partying with you again. B2B haven't met you yet, but I guess the time has come... and for those of us that aren't going to see Richie Hawtin... what are we doing after the meetup? 8'ish at that Liquer and Lounge? Sounds Good, ------------------
4. Aqua is a pretty big club. And they rent it out at pretty good prices. Send me an email at BrandonCE@hotmail.com and I will try to find a contact over there for you. I will also try to get you my friend's CD. ------------------
5. B2B, I have a friend that is a resident DJ in Germany that is looking for an excuse to come to Chicago, he wants to spin here. Maybe you could think about using him. He spins some pretty tight beats, breakbeat, downtempo, and techno, depending on what mood he is in, or so he says. Also this may sound cheesy, but you can rent out Aqua any night of the week or weekend, at fairly decent prices. Just a thought for you, but if you are interested in hearing my buddy spin let me know, I have one of his tapes at home, and he is sending me a CD sometime this week. ------B ------------------
6. Kim, OK so I slipped up on the spelling once.. don't make me count the times that you have... as for the flyers and yelling... count me in.. I guess we can all get together and try to do something about saving our nightlife from further damage(happy kim?). So where do we start? ------------------
7. It basically goes like this. Anything that younger crowds find fun, the government tries to make illegal. I mean look at pot, I don't smoke personally but I do know that it is a harmless substance. But they make it illegal, I am waiting for alchohol to become illegal so that we have to obtain that from dealers too. As for clubs closing, it isn't going to stop, we are outnumbered. We need someone that can speak about it publically to back us up. We don't have the voice or resources to spread the word like they do, and they are taking advantage of that. As for them taking away the right to charge covers... well I don't mind not having to pay outrageous covers to just walk through a door. I mean you brought up Zentra? What special talent does Zentra bring in that they need to charge a cover. Zentra has all resident DJ's with the occasional special guest. Places like RedNo who have special appearances every week need that cover, but most of the clubs in Chicago don't need to charge covers to see the same DJ every week. There are a million things we can do to try to prevent them from doing further dammage to our nightlife, post flyers, set up a website, throw a party to protest them shutting our clubs down. We do need to do something, because if they shut down our clubs I am moving... ------------------
8. I agree with DOG6 Armand Van Helden "U Don't Know Me" & that new Sade remix... can't remember the name. ------------------
9. Zentra nightclub has a lot of downtempo on Friday nights. website www.zentranightclub.com email zentranightclub@aol.com also Martini Ranch plays a lot of downtempo, but I don't know their website, you can look all this up on www.citysearch.com and search the chicago clubs for downtempo or acid jazz. ------------------

Fatboy Slim

Don't really feel an urge to see Fatboy Slim, but I'll defenately meet up with everyone afterwords. Der, I replied to your post in the meetup thread, see ya soon. ------------------
11. Kim and those wood blocks. You are just sooo old. My favorite toy was Fonzie's Garage, and then The original star wars toys. I wish I still had them, they are worth a small fortune. ------------------
12. DER, it was awesome meeting you, I never got a chance to say thanks either, you know what I am talking about too. We will defenately have to get together again sometime soon, just say when and where B ------------------
13. Kim, are you a little cranky, and you call me a crabass... yikes... ------------------
14. Maybe three at the most. Your body can only produce so much seratonin. After the first roll, you will have none, and the next day you will have less and less until you have none. Haven't you ever tried to roll a couple of days in a row? It doesn't work as good the second day. So imagine how weak the third would be. And then after that you might just catch the speedy effect. ------------------
15. Crobar---- Bang Friday's with Chris Gin and Hiroki Rive Gauche--- a little more mainstream but a good crowd on fridays Crobar---saturdays, Teri Bristol and Psycho Bitch RedNoFive any night, underground, progressive, and trance.... ------------------
16. Party with any kind of drug, alchohol and there will be concequences. I roll probably every other week, I don't get the depression and never have, but I defenately feel drained, But then again I feel drained when I go out and stay off the E. Partying with or without E is still going to drain you. I mean you dance for hours, drink or whatever you do, and then sleep, your body gets worked all night. What do you expect? I think it's worth it, as long as you don't have anything important to do the next day roll away. There is nothing wrong with vegin' on the couch watching tv the following day if you don't have to work... or what not. Party, and pay the price to each his own... I personally like the afterglow feeling. After a long week of work and commuting it's good to have a lazy day to unwind... ------------------
17. I don't know about you guys, but I heard Darude's Sandstorm a hundred times ------------------
18. I personally thought that the entire show was pretty disappointing. D:Fuse defenately put on a better show then Oakey, even though after about an hour and a half of him I was ready to fall asleep. The place was totally hot, sweaty and muggy. My clothes were soaked by 10:30. And the sound system was all bass and distortion, you'd think the Aragon would have done a little better. Why did Oakenfold come on so late? And then when he did come on he played like 2 or 3 decent tracks, I have more fun listening to his CD's. ------------------
19. Paul Oakenfold vs. John Digweed gotta love em both... ------------------

21. Fridays you can check out Rive Gauche, the place isn't as underground as some would like, but the music is good, the staff is extremely friendly and you can put yourself on the guest list at www.rivegauchenightclub.com and get in free before midnight. Saturdays, defenately Crobar, put yourself on the guest list and head out, Psycho Bitch spins saturdays and really gets the place going. ------------------
22. Cub fan? Me? only born and raised. Hell yeah I hope we are there for number 400, I hope I am there when they trade his ass too.. I want Grace back.... Sosa is a money hungry crybaby, I love the Cubs and all, but Sosa's gotta go. ------------------
23. Man I can't wait until I can afford to go there. That place looks just fu#@*& unbelievable. It's just so damn pricey to go out there. I tried dealing with Bringiton.com but that shit is like 1800$ for a week. Not affordable. maybe I can hide in someone's suitcase or something. I gotta get there. B2B, you are going to Oakie tonight right? ------------------
24. I had my buddy that works at Tower check the new issue of the Reader, and there is no pass for Crobar in there?? What issue is it in?? ------------------
