Just because you take a diplomacy class doesn't give you the right to impose what you learned in a lecture hall on others and expect them to take your views as theirs. We all feel for the people in Afghanistan in one way or another - it is a disgrace what they are enduring. When you live with National Guardsmen, and cops from all over the country patrolling your nieghborhood, and jet fighters in your skyies, THEN you might have a CLUE as to WHY we are at war. These people were at their desks just going about their every day lives. The only thing they were guilty of was being at the wrong place at the wrong time. WE WERE NOT AT WAR, WE THOUGHT WE WERE IN PEACE TIME!! But in the eyes of Osama and his whack job followers, they were at war with us. Well guess what - NOW THEY ARE GONNA KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE AT WAR WITH THE USA!! I am not saying that our foreign policies have been the best policies to adopts - HOWEVER, that doesn't give ANYONE the RIGHT to ATTACK US because they don't agree with us. We don't agree with the Taliban but we didn't attack them when they came into power. The are a puritanical regime who wants to send the world back to the 17th century - and when Mohammed walked the earth. You like going to college and being educated - well the women in afghanistan don't have that luxury anymore - they can't even leave the house without a male member escorting them let alone be educated. You like the clothes you wear, the car you drive, the food you eat, the stores you shop in, the TV you watch, the radio you listen to, and so on. Well it is ALL THOSE THINGS THAT WERE ATTACKED. Our way of life and our freedoms were attacked, and I for one don't want to live like the people in afghanistan. So I say to the men and women fighting for us - BOMB THE HELL OUT OF THEM UNTIL THEY GIVE UP!!! Keep bombing them until the taliban relinquish power, hand over bin laden and all his followers, and admit to all they have done. If it takes years - I don't care because WE DID NBOT DESERVE THIS. There are more than 12,000 children in NY who have lost a parent in this tragedy - are you gonna provide for them because it was the bread winner in all those families that is now DEAD at the hands of these maniacs. Just one more thing - you are entitled the think what you want, but don't impose your views on us - we are all entitled to our own opinion. Unfortunately for you - yours is the minority and you will receive grief for voicing. This country has seen a resurgence in patriotism, and you my friend are NOT BEING VERY PATRIOTIC. I never said WORLD would fail. You are right - not all people care who is spinning - and THAT IN AND OF ITSELF can contribute to how a DJ spins. If you are a DJ and you work off the crowds reaction - the lack of response from the corpses on the dancefloor will eventually effect how and what you spin! A DJ's crowd will follow IF they are comfortable and enjoy the environment where he spins. If they don't like the crowd that the promoters are drawing, they won't go. I for one love DT, but Vinyl's system, and the raver crowd that go are definitely a deterring factor for me. That realitygirl character really needs to get a clue. ALL that time she spends up Joey and Artie's ass seems to be causing her to have diarrhea of the mouth. Better rush over some pepto her quickly so she can make sure she is all better for Satuday!

Here's a little something to think about - has it ever crossed your mind that it was THE CROWD at WORLD that contributed to the way Denny played?? Been there many times when the CROWD was the problem not the DJ. I'd walk around that place trying to find a group of people who were actually listening to the music. Problem was the only thing I found where cheesy long island money hungry girls trying to get some guido to buy them a drink, and giving them coke. That crowd needs Music Ed. 101. They don't care at all about the muisc - put Teddy in the main room for all they care. The only thing they are concerned with is do they need another drink, and do they have enough coke to last them through the night. Seems to me that you are taking Denny's departure a little to personally. Get your head out of Artie and Joey's ass for just a minute - aren't you tired of seeing brown all the time?? Aren't you getting married to shootin3?? I think we spoke a little while ago about all this. Did you ever book that vacation you were planning - either south beach or DR if I remember correctly. It is always nice to talk to others who are going through all this craziness. I don't know about you or piro8 and his fiance, but all this planning had been making me crazy!! It's just frightening to me to know that on that day, all eyes are going to be maginifying every decision I made and that one wrong decision on my part could throw the whole day off!! Our ceremony is at St. Ann's Church in Hoboken, and the reception is at The Venetian in Garfield. I pretty much handled most of the bookings on my own also. Most guys don't get all that involved - but then they will eventually complain about something downt he road. Best of luck to both of you and tell your fiance she can IM any time!! Didn't you propose a few months back?? I too am getting married next Sept. - 9/6/2002 to be exact. I booked my photographer already - MichaelAngelo in Lodi, NJ. He has been in business for 32 years - he is the photograper, and his son is the videographer. I looked at John Agnello in Hawthorne and Studio Uno in Lodi also. You should ask how flexible the packages are, do you get to keep your proofs, how much do additional pictures cost like panaramic shots, custom mounting, framing, additional thank you cards, how much time does he require with the bride before the ceremony, payment arrangements, make sure he works with an assistant, are b&w pictures included or is it additional, how long after you submit your pictures until the album is done, where are the pictures developed, etc.. That should help you out a bit. You should try to use the same company for both pictures and video b/c they usually will throw in 2 extra master videos for your parents, and will give you the unedited copy. Also find out if the video could be transfered to DVD eventually (usually for another $250), and also if you are able to get you photo album on a CD. Hope this is helpful. OMG - it's on the tip of my tongue - I went NUTS on the dancefloor when I heard it!! I can't believe I can't remember - it's come to me eventually!!! SO mad I can't remember!

My fiance wasn't too thrilled either that I came home as late as I did considering he had to get up about 1 1/2 hours after I tiptoed into bed. OF COURSE he heard me! The plans are going ok. We have the major stuff done (DJ, florist, photographer/videographer, hall, chursch, & my dress) - we just have to register, book the limos, and pick out the invitations. Gonna register in the winter when there's nothing to do. Invitations I'll go for in like May, and the girls dresses I am gonna start to look with my sister in March. We are waiting to book the honeymoon - all depends on what is going on in the world. Don't know if Italy and Greece would be such a good idea if we are in the middle of a major wa on terrorism. We might wait until our 1 year anniversary for that then and might go to Manzanillo, San Fran, and Vegas instead. But again it is all up in the air!! I could never elope - I don't care how much it costs!! I have been dreaming of this FOREVER!!
