  1. I HEARD THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED. Scot has fallen very ill and is on his way to recovery. trying to find confirmation on his site but one of my friends is on regular speaking terms with Scot's agent.
  2. if anyone needs a ticket for this event i have one to sell for $30. cash local meetup only 646-436-5572
  3. yes he is DEFINITELY an underrated dj when it comes to the Borris & JP crowd but he holds just as much if not more prestige and reverence within his particular fan base. His track selection is QUALITY and unique. he def has a music-driven and highly knowledgeable crowd that never fails to come out everytime he throws down...its a reputation like this that will grow his name in NYC and im sure that his fanbase will increase tenfold in time...
  4. i guess it was a waste of time to even ask on this board. i grew tired of all the immaturity and idiocy a few years back... i guess its about what i EXPECTED from a typical CP member...no wonder i left for TranceAddict.com and Trance.nu
  5. are you serious. never mind. i already have my ticket i needed one more for a friend but seirously we don't need to go to PVD that badly. do ur pickup lines usually work on OTHER ppl on this board? I def didn't want to read this today. just reminded me of why i DON'T post on this board anymore. grow up, jesus f***** christ.
  6. no offense but if a club allows underage drinking and they are caught they will be issued a fine or shut down. is it any WONDER that places are 21 and over now. the same problems keep occurring with other clubs as well. I guess in the end it just got way too much. yes i know in Canada legal drinking/clubbing age is 19+. Good for them. 21+ is how it is here. and iono 18+ parties brings on more fights in any clubbing venue its just my observation.
  7. As everyone knows its **now** a 21+ show NOT an 18+ show. email me at phoenixbebe@gmail.com if you do have a ticket to sell. Thx Alyssa
  8. yeap thats jason I never miss a Jollins set when he plays in NYC i so CANT WAIT for his next gig here!!! -LySs
  9. and besides everytime a stranger/possible UNDERCOVER asks for stuff, I always just shrug my shoulders. We don't TALK to strangers.
  10. yups, and there is probably a plan in the works for some DTs to be there that night. esp. if its a JP show. of course they would jump at the opportunity to close down yet another club. lol then again im just MAD that David Guetta isnt spinning at Pacha that night, that WAS the plan initally. ;(
  11. so any reviews on this? i just need some entertainment this morning ahha.
  12. iono man i was once the biggest PVD fan...but i skipped this one and may skip summerstage for the first time in THREE years...hes gotten way too repetitive in his shows and is too tech-trancey for my taste. I miss the melodic what i wouldnt do to hear a night of Classics from him...*sigh*
  13. OMFG...thank GOD im not going to WMC/Nikki Beach this year...sounds like they cheaped out this year. so instead of mojitos on the beach, they are just going to have coke or sumdin? jp's breakfast of champions tasteless. the quality this year is going down the shitter
  14. lol this thread is retarded...its like non-edm related really i stopped posting on clubplanet like four years ago...this is the site full of guidos and ppl who just don't know where better to post...full of dumb threads like this, hah. haha im surprised to still see certain ppl on here that i know... as for clubs in NYC, there are guidos everywhere (the leehottis) - they fuckin scared me last friday at Crobar how alike they looked...and the FOBS who do the headshaking dance...ugh old looking azns that overdose on E and actually look like they came from China or some shit like that -- they make all asians look BAD I, as well as every other 'twinkie' (asian-american) just STAY away from them and where they inhabit the floor. Don't want to be identified with them, i just detest them, i wanna punch their lights out when they bump into me, being all shitfaced...and being asian myself, am ashamed that they even EXIST. then again i dont really have any close asian friends, i mostly hang out in a very mixed crowd. as for alcohol, just a BIG thumbs down on it, one good thing I can say about E is that it promotes 'love' and peace. alcohol = stupid fights and regrettable actions in more ways than one. no matter WHAT race you are. -alyssa
  15. James is WAAAYYY too big to stay in ONE place, altho i think hes a resident of Godskitchen. Then again so is almost every renowned dj abroad... I bet JP couldn't even be able to figure out ABLETON...not with all the coke that he does...where his following is only ppl that do drugs... and hey James Zabiela has an innovative sound that he masters with his skillz. Definitely a pioneer, an international STAR.
  16. OMFG... i cannot believe ppl are trying to compare JP with JZ...are they even on the same level, one spins house and goes on 24 hour parties on coke/meth binges and is linked to one of the most reputable crackhouses in this decade (the old SF) not to mention guidos and shiet, one has skills uncomparable to others at that age... does not compute that ppl are comparing the two. like COME ON! at least compare him with respectable producers in edm. whos the one that tagteams with other great producers like Sasha etc. i dont see JP getting such offers. and whose productions are getting high acclaim year after year. Umm i dont think JP falls into that category. DJing is aiite, it pays the bills, but at the end of the day the guy's got NUTHIN'. just like tony draper rofl lol now i reemmber why i stopped going on this board. this is the JP fanboard, i never heard such rubbish in my flie. hah okthxbye
  17. Picotto is coming also, Ferry is up to his 4th show in his 6 month residency at Crobar, Sasha is back agian with a bi-monthly residency, and i think Deep Dish is going to replace Ferry in the next monthly residency rotation after March Crobar is actually VERY well managed. kudos to them.
  18. ive been regularly seeing Armin at Spirit since December 11 2004 IMO - his June 10th show...Usually i totally look forward to these gigs...but Friday's party was DEF a lil too much for me... I wasn't expecting him to throw down so much TECH trance either, it got very boring...it got WAY crowded TOO early on and we were packed in like sardines...maybe seeing a bunch of guidos right in front of Spirit at the beginning was an OMEN **shruggs** standing RIGHT in front of the dj booth made my ears bleed, and the ppl who tried to climb the dj booth to get to Armin almost fell on me. But, as it got toward 530ish, ppl started leaving, there was more room to dance, and i actually met some realy cool pplz other than the ones that I was there with. Busted out some new dance moves, not bad not bad heh. Met this cool guy named Chris, this cool guy named James in a black shirt with the white glowsticks and he was madd chills. very cool but at the end of the night everyone just upped and said bye. lol maybe ill see him again at another party. haha -Alyssa
