Okay, any suggestions on good places to go? I'm over the 2nd Avenue mid 50s scene and the bars on Amsterdam. But we want a really fun place with fun music. We want a good after work crowd but not too many really young people. My friend and I are 24 and would like places that are mostly people our age but not too old either. She's down on Wall Street and I'm near Herald's Square but location really doesn't matter all that much. Any suggestions? ------------------ You're only young once

So how was it girl? Hopefully you went out and got to listen to good music and dance your ass off! The first time I tripped was at Cyberia. The club itself sucked ass but the trip was fun. But I don't even like to count that as my first b/c my first true TRIP, the best of 'em all was the second time I did E and I went to SF for the first time....OMG!!! I had such an amazing time. It was the Diamonds and Dildos party. The music, the crowd, the pill.....SO AWESOME!!!!! I don't think any other night has compared to that night. I grind my teeth when i'm tripping and even when I'm not. It definitely sucks and can cause a lot of jaw pain. I don't suggest chewing gum b/c that will only make the joint even more sore that it already was. Those mouth guards you're referring to are great for sleeping but not for clubbing. They're very similar to the kind atheletes use and make it very difficult to talk and they're often very noticable. My suggestion, get candy. Lollipops, especially Push Pops, are great b/c you can use it as needed through out the nite. Jolly Ranchers are also great b/c they're small enough that you can just keep them in b/w your teeth and you don't have to keep your mouth open. You can chew on straws but that's not always attractive. Using little plastic toys is good too. I had this little frog key chain that fit perfectly in b/w my front teeth. It was made out rubber or something and it was really soft to chew but I lost him. So now I usually stick with candy. Good luck! ------------------ You're only young once

Well, I'm sure we don't know all of the details but maybe he was just saying all of that to you to get into your pants and avoid any real commitment to you. And XFactor is right, you don't want to be w/ somebody who would treat you like that anyway.
