It's been ages since I've been around here but I'm finally on vacation from the hospital and I've got some time to check out the bb's so here I am to tell you that my husband, Chris Calix (along with Peter Parrado and Gabriel Alexander) will be having a little pre-WMC/St. Patty's day party in the back room of Purdy Lounge this thursday night (03/17/05). This should be GREAT as there is always a wicked vibe there during holidays. Right, Ramon? Try to make it out if you can. You won't be dissapointed. The music will be funky & chunky and you just can't beat listening to great music in a small bar. Ladies will be drinking free well drinks before midnight. Oh, and this bartender doesn't mix weak freebies either...trust me!

well well well.... I see things haven't changed to much around here I've missed the forums and was lurking around when I came upon this thread. Ramon and Danny, I went to see Howells and Wink when they were here last month (or was it July?) anyway.... it was GREAT!!!!! I prefer to hear Howells on his own but the combo was good. Also he played a sunrise set on the patio (DH) that just GOT ME JUMPING AGAIN at 7am. If I'm not on call... I'll be there !

A BIG thanks to Marcos and Carla for having us at Privilege on Friday night. We had such a GREAT TIME and are definitely looking forward to the next time. Thanks to all who came out to support. I means a lot to us since we don't really get out that much anymore. I'm always worried that people will be say something like... "who the hell is Chris?" I loved hearing Frank and Chris tossing their respective vibes back and forth on the patio. You GUYS ROCKED!!! The main room was also a hit with me. I had trouble tearing myself away from both rooms. I went by to say hello to Dave (Great seeing you again, by the way ) but didn't get a chance to meet Obby or Habersham. Next time. I must say, however, that had it not been for the crowd from the salsa room next to the patio... it just wouldn't have been the same.

DAMN!!! I wish I could get out more often. I had such a GREAT TIME!!!! Chris was FABULOUS! (those who know me know that I'm not just saying that b/c he's my hubs). Domingo flowed in BEAUTIFULLY! The music was, truely, TOP NOTCH!!!! I wish more of you would have come out but since it was a sunday night.... I understand. I usually can't get out on a sunday either.
