lol, but seriously i think this shit should at least prompt some ny clubs to examine their emergency evacuation plans, there have been some times at various clubs that were so packed beyond the max occupancy by far that i know many would die if a fire or something else broke out... btw- my mother called me after reading these articles and said "just keep going to clubs darling" in a very sarcastic tone... oh well off to pvd soon:D

wouldn't you have to wear banana republic clothes for work? i may be wrong but i was gonna work at guess last year and you had to wear clothes from the store. many big chains do this. banana republic may have a different policy though......

ugh i hate them. i have to take metro north into the city sometimes and i see tons of rich yuppie types wearing them like they are soooo much better than everyone else. they are tacky and unnecessary, not to mention cruel to animals. its a basically just a show. if you have money there are so many truly gorgeous coats out there that are not fur. ohh and the worst of all is when men wear them. one guy i saw the other day had on a waist length mink and he looked rettaarrddedd......

congrats, i keep tryin to get my bf to quit but i try not to bother him too much about it for the reasons mentioned before. its a gross habit though and deadly. one of my friend's boyfriend just got diagnosed with lung cancer as a result of smoking and HE IS 26. it can happen at any age people. be careful and take of yourself. :worry2:

there are many cool clothing and shoe stores on 8th st that i walk by everyday (l'impasse being one) that i am dying to go shop in. i have restricted myself as to not look in the store windows cuz i would buy something new every day in those funky shops. but i definitely think i have to check this one out now. whats the price range like??

I am at the school of social work with a double major in psychology at NYU i transfered but since my school has a tiny undergrad class they take care of us a lot so its not too bad, all my credits transfered too trying to get into CAS classes still sucks though.......

i think that it depends on the pair, if they are cheap looking (as with many other things), then they look like shit. i personally also like them for that extra safety reassurance on vacant subway platforms.... if nothing else, they intimidate

most dorms house people in all different classes, not just specifically freshmen, but some dorms that house mainly freshmen are brittany (10th &broadway), hayden (wash sq west), palladium (union sq), and weinstein (university pl)

i have seen a lot of this in stores recently and i just picked up a chocolate brown suede miniskirt the other day, HOWEVER i am having trouble deciding what boots will match it... suggestions would be greatly appreciated! ciao

sorry it has taken so long for my reply... so much work lately! I go to B.U. Boston is so great (even though i miss ny!) The clubs here have been fun, especially avalon and axis...
