    Paging: Der

    Der, check your PM's... ------------------
  2. RedNoFive - trance, progressive, house Transit - Progressive, House, Techno Crobar - Hard House, progressive/breaks in the mezz there are plenty of other places, but don't have enough time to list them all. ------------------
  3. damn it... why does the good shit always have to happen on Thursdays... don't these promoters realize that some of us have jobs.. but one good side???? Sick days... ------------------
  4. aaahhhh now I see. I didn't see the attachment, I run a really small window at work, don't want anyone to know what I really do all day.... ------------------
  5. Transit saturdays is usually John Curley Chris Somer and special guests, this past weekend it was sean cusick, and it was off the hook last weekend was D:Fuse it sucked. The place is just unreal, it's huge and it's loud with awesome lighting. Plus Medusa is promoting saturdays now. Der you should defenately check it out. And you can get on the list for free cover before 11 by sending an email to Kelly@transit-usa.com ------------------
  6. Check out the Pete Tong essential mix. I got a promo copy from a friend and it's all got that same type of groove that modjo has. also look for different remixes of Spiller's Groovejet.. oldie buy goodie. ------------------
  7. Anyone got any hot tips on what's happening this saturday? Bmitch has a friend coming in from Boston and we want to make sure she goes back telling everyone how great Chicago is. ------------------
  8. E will defenately lower your immune system. It really takes it's toll on your body period. And the combination of a lowered immune system, and that hot and sweaty walking out into the cold at night thing defenately will help you get a cold. As for the 5-HTP, that will help your brain recover, but won't do diddly for you immune system, just load up on your vitamins the day of and for a couple of days after and that should help some, hell it's what I usually do, and I don't get sick after E. I don't use 5-HTP either, it doesn't really do anything for me. ------------------
  9. Bmitch, two words.... suck it!!! Man after all that dancing and other shit there was no way I was staying awake for another minute. 4am was plenty when you started partying around 8:30. Next time I will make sure to take a nap before we go out so we can feel like crackheads when we are still drinking and the sun is rising... there are you happy now you crybaby... jk.. ------------------
  10. well hurry up and find out Der... I wouldn't mind checking her out again, the music rocked last time. ------------------
  11. Yep... we need more people posting here period. Just as long as there aren't anymore smartasses from new york bringing their drama to our board, stay on the NYC drama board, we need more friendly Chicago Natives.... What's up with those flyers clubplanet???? Send em out and we'll hand em out???? ------------------
  12. See you saturday Kim. Bmitch, what are your plans for Saturday. If your girl is coming in from Boston we need to plan something big. We can do the preparty thing at my place again, that way she can meet us before we go out, then we have to figure out where to go. I would say Crobar, but the place is always too damn crowded to have any fun. We will have to figure something out. Anyone have any ideas?? ------------------
  13. At home, let's see. I still pretty much listen to the same stuff I listen to when I am out. Techno, Hardhouse, Trance, Progressive also Blink 182 The Misfits Disturbed Naked Raygun The Cramps Old 97's also agree with Bmitch, movie soundtracks kick ass. in case you were wondering I really like 80's punk and all garage punk sounding bands. ------------------
  14. And I would have to say, Nick Sentience. I just got one of his CD's, and the thing is just slammin'. It made me want to start jumping around the living room. Good Hard House, and each song has more energy then the one before it. The CD just builds and builds... ------------------
  15. I'm with Bmitch, take it kind of easy on friday and have a blast on saturday. Hopefully we can have as much fun this saturday as we did at Transit. I'm not really feeling like seeing a band, unless they are playing beatles tunes. ------------------
  16. It might be because Birdj's loud mouth disappeared for a while. And B2B was gone for a couple of days, but I haven't seen half as many posts as usual out of those guys. I think they are all deserting us for the NY board. ------------------
  17. Alright, what happened to this board, everyone was posting like crazy two weeks ago, and now there is like 1 post an hour... We are fading again. Everyone start posting. ------------------
  18. Love it. It's like a truth syrum. You just spit out whatever is on your mind. And when you get home the sex is great. It almost feels as if your bodies are melting together. Can't think of any other way to describe it. ------------------
  19. Now where in the hell do you get falernum??? ------------------
  20. oh, and by the way B2B, tried your VCR's on saturday night, all I can say is tasty... ------------------
  21. BirdJ?? Is that you?? I thought you might have been dead... ------------------
  22. This weekend rocked. Plain and simple. Friday was more of a relaxed night, but Saturday at Transit?? Sean Cusick rocked the house. I didn't stop dancing for more then a few minutes at a time, and neither did the rest of the place. Keep your ears open for this guy, and if you hear that he is spinning somewhere don't miss it... ------------------
  23. Let's not forget Mars 2112 on Thursdays... where you can party with the chicago fusion crew and listen to some of the lamest tunes you will ever hear..... someone please tell that place to get a new DJ real real soon. It is a really cool atmosphere, but I can only hear pump up the jam by technotronic, well I can never hear that song.. and they play it. You would think with all the money that they put into the club they would spend just a little more on a DJ that has purchased records in the past two years. All the music is old and played out. ------------------
  24. Now that I am sober, I can honestly say that Transit saturday was the most fun I have had in a long time. The music was slammin, the lights were outrageous and the crowd didn't stop moving all night. Sean Cusick was the shit... hopefully he will be around again really soon. And if he is, I won't miss it for anything. So when are we going to schedule another meetup? I suggest we wait until B2B and Diesel are both back... ------------------
  25. Tommy, we'll see you there. Maybe this time I will look like I am having more fun... later.... ------------------
