We were supposed to swing by Table 50 to see Dill, Sporter, Gaby & Co, but Steven Lee & some friends kidnapped me from Cielo...

So I trekked down to Cielo last night via the Feng Shui Xpress, for shits and giggles, and i gotta say, this club hits the nail on the head as far it's vibe, design, sound and staff. Inside, there's a, old skool, future-retro feel to the walls and seating, while a very top-notch Funktion One soundsystem pumps out some of the cleanest sounds of any room on the Atlantic seaboard. Roger Sanchez was on the entire night, starting it off proper, with some deep, jazzy soulful ear candy, equisitely programmed, deftly weaving funk, soul, tribal, and just plain straight-up-for-it house. Nice way to cap off the birthday week.

There will be a 2 part map given out with directions to the party. part 1 will be ditributed with the invite, part is an overlay that will reveal the location of the party... Ill be around Fri & Sat with invites, and overlays will be handed out on Sunday @ the secret mappoint. Firstly, I just wanna say THANK YOU to all the people that made it out Sunday afternoon to our first of many exciting Sunday afternoons to come. Big ups to all the DJ's that joined us, and all of Boston's underground dance music faithful. It was a wonderful way to kick off the week, before heading over to the Phoenix Landing & I/D... With some minor kinks to be ironed out for next week, we'll be back stronger than ever to make your Sunday afternoons enjoyable all spring and summer long. Special thanks to (in no particular order): Stymmie, X, Drew, Meg, Kara, Court, Jen, Taner, Jim, Eddie, Bella, Marissa, Shaun, Erik B, Dom, Felix, phatbastad (who was there @ 11AM!!! :-D ) and all the DJ's: Tom, Dres, Randy D, Jad, & Eli... It's almost upon us, the beginning of Plastic Sex. Where will Plastic Sex take you? Out of your living room on Sundays and into the great beyond? Maybe the great beyond is just.... ahhh forget about it! Plastic Sex is all about comin out with your friends on a lazy Sunday afternoon enjoying a few adult beverages and some funky fresh tunes... Who will be playing this week? Thats part of our secret... It could be anybody. This week I'll offer you some 'potential' DJ's that have expressed interest in playing: 1. Rhymes with 'Pillkie' 2. Real World San Diego Guy (NOT!) 3. Not yer daddy. 4. The Iron Chef 5. Same initials as another infamous DJ 6. Se habla espanol? 7. A very 'special' guest. The dress code will be relaxed, casual but neat. Any of you that have been outside of the US should recognize the term 'smart trainers' will be allowed. (if you haven't, it just means cool sneakers are OK) Anyone in a Von Dutch hat will be beaten and dealt with. Tables have been filling up quickly, remember there is NO minimum to reserve a table, so send in your reservations ASAP. Just remember: Plastic Sex feels good.
