  1. if its not a JP CD, and I agree that there is a chance that it is not-- Who is the stud who has his hands on not only the luz acapella, but free and a lot of those other bangers on there WE B TWEAKIN-EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND WE B TWEAKIN ???? Mike Bugout
  2. hey roninumbus, I have no clue what you're talking about. Bugout and Dan wilson are two different people. Speaking of different people, can u believe that all those dj's beat of Jonathan Peters? He is the best dj around. He packs 3000 people into the Sound Factory every saturday. And no, I am not stalking roninostradamus, I am just following his every move. {the following was my best DW impression} Mike Bugout
  3. everyone should tune in....beats are reeeeedic... Mike Bugout
  4. to quote another message board.... FAHHHHHHHHHHHHH Q FEG!!!!! Mike Bugout
  5. sounds good to me. Mike Bugout
  6. see though, I have a problem with this whole "musically progressing" theory. So what would u call it if i went from holden remixes to PH ones, musically REgressing, as in moving backwards. House muzik is house muzik. No matter how plain or simple, how complex or complicated. What u may consider cheese may be genius to someone else. And your musical knowledge does not afford u the opportunity to tell people how far along their musical progression is. This isnt a direct shot at u Wakeup, b/c I see this everywhere and it really makes me sick. People when I say I still like scot project and hard trance stuff. If i like to hear Vicious rip apart hard trance anthems at roxy and then I like to roll to vinyl to hear the man DT rock the vibe in there, where does that place me on this spectrum? All im sayin is music is music. Last i checked you don't get a "musical knowledge" card in the mail after you've listened, spun or been involved in the culture for so long that it enables you to mark or guide other peoples tastes. When Im in the mood for the hard beats, thats what i wanna hear. Or some nice trance to mellow out. Or some hard tribal, or some groovy house, or some vocals to sing my lungs out. Thats why I love dance muzik as opposed to Crip Hop. The diversity is endless. Cody--I saw u giving someone the "one day u'll grow up in music taste speecH" at centro thurs and I was kinda taken back. You were once the girl i knew that called people who gave this speech "Muzik Snobs" were u not? U know I got love for u girl, but i dont see how u 'grow up' musically. When I first started spinnn, I spun Freestyle dance guido music. I didn't grow up from it, I just progressed as the times have, but i still like to play it from time to time. I don't look at freestyle music and look down on it as something I did when i was younger. When i started spinning house music, jams like In De Ghetto, Nu Nu, Gypsy Women and I could go on and on were the SHITTTTT. I didnt grow up from them either. So im not buying this whole 'musical growing up progression spectrum" idea, but unfortunately u people who bring it up on CP are only a few of the MANY who adapt to this theory. I'd like to hear why u guys think that why. No Drama. Just a debate about MUZIK (which im pretty sure this forum is geared to) Peace Mike Bugout

  12. mikeyd is correct-- unfortunately they dont announce the dates till like jan-feb so it kinda handcuffs u into making last minute plans...my advice after goin last year-- A-Dont Stay at the Clevlander B-Attend the clevlander party but dont leave it early b/c u wont get in and u'll be forced to dance on the sidewalk as i did while Mike Mac Destroyed Worq It Muthafucka!!! so im not really thinkin about it for a while-- Mike Bugout
  13. transatlantic soul or whatever was the alias used on the track... came out a few weeks ago...dope track...vocal and dub Mike Bugout
  14. when he spun 2 weeks ago at roxy, he spun about half and half records and cd and for the 2 hours I was watching him in the booth not only did he not wreck once, but he didnt play anything that was pre-mixed. I would have noticed that. Mike Bugout

  17. Crowd was awesome, atmosphere was great, nice job by thorin and the crew on the party--but my review will focus mostly on the man--SUPERCHUMBOOOOOOOOO started out kinda dark and I wasnt sure how he was gonna take it--but then he busts out Fantasy/reality, which really got the crowd up--He then followed for the next 2 hours with some SLAMMMIN TRIBAL BEATTTTTSSS... Highlights were most definitely -Rivera's Bass Generator with the shakedown acapella, the way he looped the acc over certain parts had me jumpin and of course as some people mentioned already- IRRREESSSITTAAABLLLEEEE---sickness Dark Beat was...Umm...Dark? It def didnt warrent all the fanfare that saleen gave it but its def a dope track.... Nice seeing madd CP heads there...Also nice chatting with Richie Santana and Denny Tsettos.
