This is our first week of doing this so this week will be sort of a preview. Use the Midnight List for reduced at the door and we'll figure out the deal when everyone is inside.. But being that the room is so small, we need a way to insure that the guests of the DJ who is playing will be allowed in. So if you use someone else's list, it doesnt mean u cant get in...But if u get in there and the room is packed and we can only let a few people in--the people stamped will get in before you do...u know what i mean? Also again if u arrive after the lists close, you'll be in the same boat. Of course you can always find me or larry and we'll stamp you--like i said I dont want to turn this into another White Room--Its just that we need to accomplish 2 things by being selective- 1- Seperate the room from the other rooms and not have it be crammed in 2-Show Exit's management that we're doing well...One thing that HASNT changed at exit is that we can pack that room every week but if the List isnt doing #'s, they dont care. This happens at every club tho, not just exit. i can see how u may think its a conspiracy... and I'll be the first to admit that exit still has a long way to go.. i figured it would take at least a month's worth of consecutive good nights before we could say exit was gettin there... last friday was good...much better than its been....hopefully this friday will be another step in a positive direction... Santana ripped the place up last week, it was a really good time. The crowd was definitely different--and that was only after 1 week... This week its Denny Tsettos on the main and Jason Ojeda for afterhours... I also run a room called the Midnight Room where i'll be spinning this week with my boy DJ Drag...next week im joined by Mark Amatucci.... Exits changing for the better so anyone who sits on the sidelines and sez 'exit sucks' is missing out... Mike Bugout

happppy new yearrrrrrrrr.... Wow what a nice sight to see my first time loggin on to CP in 2003--thanks everyone for the positive feedback! We're working hard to do this up right, so if you have any ideas hit us up-- the concepts are definitely in place, now we just gotta make em work. As far as format, we'd like to offer music that music fans will appriciate...something different from the main floor, so if Denny's rockin Tribal, we may go with trance....If Vicious rocks Trance next week, me and tooch may break out tech...(mmmm tech)... But its also about the vibe the room carries...and we're goin to try a set a nice Vibe in there...Remember the Midnight List gets you access...Lineups are being formered as we speak and we'll definitely keep u posted, as I'd like to do an "official" (b/c on CP we love our official meetups ) CP night in that room with some of cp's finest dj's....if it goes well we can even do it as a monthly staple in the room.... Just wanted to let everyone know about whats starting friday at exit. The Game Room becomes the MIDNIGHT ROOM...a seperate room with a seperate vibe....A room where music lovers can hear good music they truely appriciate...The room is small, but it offers a nice contrast to the main floor. I will be the resident DJ and working with Legend38 and Bob G, we'll have other guest dj's to rock with me. This friday its Denny Tsettos on the main floor and in the Midnight Room I'll be joined by my special guest DJ Drag. He'll play from 12 (when the room opens) till 230-3am then I'll be on the rest of the night. Next friday I will be joined by NJ's own Mark Amatucci for a special tag team set & we'll go record for record from 12am--??? And in the weeks to come we'll have other dj's join me who are playing some dope beats in a chill room with its own seperate vibe. This week is a preview so everyone will get into the room all nite--Use the MIDNIGHT list at the door to get into the room or find me or legend...-Starting next week (1/10) you will have to either present a printout or use the MIDNIGHT list and get stamped to enter the room. This wont be another white room however and we will be VERY lenient on letting people in--At the same time the room is small and we dont want it crammed in... I really like this concept and think we can establish a vibe all its own in this room. A room for music lovers. A room thats chill and gets hot after midnight. Come by this friday and check it out. First off, thank you . My residency at exit begins this friday in the MIDNIGHT ROOM (formerly the game room). Its all about turnin Lemons into Lemonade and watch what that shitty side room becomes. It starts this friday. Secondly--I agree 100% about the nyc argument. We're all sitting here arguing about which club is better when a lot of cities are lucky to have one club even similar to arc or to SF or exit or centro or LL or whatever...but then again, we are NY, so we do tend to argue over the luxuries no matter what... Third--Btw reading Cody's posts and mine, you would think cody was the one in law school and not me:laugh: Cody ur gonna start coming to class with me and when i get called on Im making you talk... Fourth--Bobby's original post is kinda sad. Its sad to see the Roxy go, but I see no reason why the vibe and fun we had over at Roxy cant continue in Exit's new atmosphere... Fifth-Highmay, you've seen a lot so you know and your entitled to your opinion. Unfortunately U asked me friday where im spinnin next and its at exit now, but PM me and hopefully u can catch me. Also, u called Exit a business..very true. But unfortunately, every club is a business, just some of the other ones have owners who have more music in mind than david does. Sixth--Xfactor, PM me also. The acoustics in that place are horrible, even a phazon wouldnt help too much. But its just so damn big take it for what it is. Of course its not gonna sound as good as arc in that small room, but it has other advantages. Finally--Zeeker...CP's #1 Drama Queen I see your a lil critical of the early reviews of evolution--no one is saying exit is back, i think every comment basically said its on its way...and thats all im saying. Saying that Cody and some of the CP heads only support Bobby and not the party itself is just ignorant. Most of the people who went week one from CP didnt even know Bobby--me and cody commented on how we didnt see any of the old roxy crew at exit yet...and as for us going--I went to support RICHHHHIEEE SANNNNTAAANNNAAA my good friend and one the best tribal dj's i know of--as well as the party...remember we are music fans...so whatever...no need to drag on for 10 pages, just come friday, we'll have some drinks and hear some good beats and enjoy it Happy and Safe New Year Mike Bugout

oh man--Richie did it to nyc last nite tha man destroyed exit...the crowd was definitely gettin better, it took them a while but they were all LOVVVIN the tribal after an hour or so-- Richie got into it and got used to the room and threw down... did anyone from this board get a chance to check it? yo just to say... Adel got one of my comps confused but then Bobby came out to sort it out.. She then found me later and apologzed for the mishap--I thought that was very noble, profession and nice. oh man, that def wasnt the stage crew i know!! But the energy up there was awesome...

crazy night--started at exit around 1130-- Dom Capello opened up with a nice set, Santana came on at 1215 or so and TORREEEEEE it up:eek: Musically it was redic... The crowd didnt seem to fill in right away but btw 1 and 2am it really filled up nicely....whole dancefloor was packed, some room to move on the second floor...Me and Cody mainly stayed in the booth so I cant comment too strongly about the crowd but from what i saw there was a lot of good looking people... I definitely felt a bit of a vibe over there...nothing earthshaking but definitely a good start...Did i Mention Richie was SICKKKKK, tribal banger after banger, the crowd at first didnt seem to be responding to the music but by like 130 they were definitely into it--Some hott dancers were all over in black and white outfits, 2 stage shows with some elaborate costumes, a very nice touch....I didnt want to leave but there was no way I was missing ferry in NYC so we bounced around 3ish after speaking to Bob G for a lil while (thanks for everything Bob). I walked in to no line and no security line, unlike some stories ive now heard...Ferry was awesome...tranceaddicts mobbed the stage, i thought it was gonna break....Heaven's Earth was nice, Punk of course, a few others i cant remember...I was waiting for Out of the Blue but i missed it as it came at 5am and I jetted at 430...Nice seeing Bigpoppa, DJ Jon (SOOOBEEEE), Quoth good seeing u bro-- Nice meeting Highmay, NYCMuzik2000, and tranceguynyc...roxy was a good time Im gonna miss that place on a weekly basis.... The thing that really stood out to me on friday night was exit. I know I rallied all week for everyone to check exit and support the party as they try to fix exit, but no one knew how it was gonna go over...I was impressed-supposedly a lot of people got turned away for dress code or whatever and I def didnt get raped by security on my way in-- Next week is Denny Tsettos over there and I definitely will be there...Exit isnt back yet--but its definitely on its way and big shout to codyyyyyyy:hat: Mike Bugout
