"sexiest club in l.a." is deep??? Another reason not to believe anything you see on E channel. The dancers in the glass boxes have the expressions of ones who have recently undergone electro-shock therapy, and every woman in the place can be used as an emergency flotation device. At least the drinks are strong, but they damn well better be as the cost of a round of martinis could pay off the Argentine national debt... look elsewhere, angelenos.

Barfly is nice inside, with a smallish dance floor, a sushi bar, and a circular bar. it also has a few tables and lounge area, and the requisite dim lighting. It's true that it helps to have your peeps there, but when isn't that true? weekends are bridge and tunnel, I'd suggest wednesdays or thursdays...

Sorry for the delay... Revival and Deep are alternating Sunday nights at 1650 (1650 Schrader) in Hollywood. Doc Martin, Marques Wyatt are residents and different djs come in every week. Real people, very little attitude, especially for LA, good sound system and a quiet chillout lounge. Definitely check it out. Wyatt will be at Centre of the Universe tonight... oh and if you go to see him, you might check out Oakenfold, BT, and Sander Kleinenberg (who kicks ASS!!) I mean, if you're into that whole scene where people stand around and play records... ; )

They've got it in the Bay Area... I dunno about here, but they're called AM's, which means "Adios Motherfucker" it's every clear drink in the bar, eg vodka, gin, tequila. white rum, then some seven up and topped off with EverClear, sometimes served on fire. You don't need more than two... Oh, and even though it sounds nasty, it actually tastes pretty good... the second one you don't taste at all, heh heh...
