  1. Let's see, I went to clubs and raves in Canada when I was 17, but I wasn't too into the scene. Went to raves when I turned 18, but that same year, I had my first real clubbing experience at Twilo. Rolled real hard that night, and believe it or not the dj was Paul Van Dyk. It was absolutely amazing, I haven't stopped partying since.
  2. Anyone get to check those two out this past Friday. My boss just gave me Scott Henry's new cd and it's pretty cool. Just wondering how the set was Friday, heard mixed reviews?
  3. I'll definitely be there, hell I work for the club. If anyone wants to go on the guestlist for that night or any other Friday just PM me and I'll give you the info.
  4. I'm clapping. He's obviously some very lonely and bored little punk with no life what so ever. That's why he sits around all day and causes drama. Hell, he's claimed on this board that he has a job and owns a home, yet on another thread he says he's coming to school here? A little contradiction there? Obviously just a little punk with no life, no girlfriend, and nothing better to do. Just ignore him like the rest of us he's not worth the time.

    Asian guys

It's not really a problem with the dates or finding a girlfriend, it's just that from my personal experience I find that it takes time for a girl to open up to me for some reason. Like on a more personal level, there's always this weird barrier because of ethnicity. They're pretty willing to get intimate on a physical level but, it's just like there's this real wall I have to get over for like serious commitments. Maybe it's just me or the different culture I come from. Probably approaching it the wrong way.
  6. I'm definitely going, Micro was pretty ill the last time I saw him. Debo's pretty good too. Never heard Icey before though, anyone know what he spins?
  7. Just wondering what your opinions were on the best club in Boston? Mine used to be Axis with all the international superstars, intimate setting with the dj, and casual dresscode. Lately though, all the stars have been going to Avalon and the dresscode got lifted there too, plus the new lighting, nitrogen blowing, and a much larger room to dance in. Hell, I even started promoting there after awhile. What's everyone's opinion on the best club in Boston?
  8. Well, I'm new to this board and I don't want to get into anymore controversy, (check the Boston board for 2 shitheads posting about Boston), but you guys ever thought of toning down? I used to be like you guys, was a college football player so I had to be big. But man, I definitely have to say women dig the smaller more lean muscle type guy not the big and bulky power lifter dude. Any women agree with that?
  9. Yeah, Avalon and Axis are definitely the places to go on Landsdowne. You won't find any other place to see some of the biggest stars in the world. If you're looking for an afterhours there's a place called Rise that's a private party every Thu, Fri, and Saturday (gay night I think). Anyways, you just have to find a member to get passes to it or become a member. It's the only place in Boston open till 6 am. It is mad fun though definitely worth checking out.
  10. Oh, none of us were comparing Boston clubs to NYC clubs. I can definitely agree with you that nothing in Btown compares to NYC. God Twilo was one of my favorite spots, went there at least once a month. We're just shitting on Jersey clubs because these two dicks decided to talk shit. Only the real intelligent people can start stupid threads like this, these guys are real winners. By the way, what good NYC clubs are left? Haven't been since Twilo shut down. Heard Deep Dish started residency at Centro-Fly and Danny Tenaglia still does the Vinyl thing, but is there anywhere else to see some superstars?
  11. Honestly, I really don't care what either of you have to say. You both said you were around like 22 if I recall, yet you act as if you were like 15. Guess you guys must be real smart and sophisticated. I wonder what you guys do for a living? Must be something real important if you can spend all day throwing stupid comments out on a msg board? Your wrists must really be killing you with all the typing and jerking off you both do considering neither of you have ever had a date in your lives. Consider this my last reply to any of your moronic comments. Later chumps.
  12. Totally agree with that last comment. Besides, has anyone seen him lately? He just has this attitude now that he's the shit. Course he doesn't realize that his stock is falling incredibly low with the real music lovers the most important people to this scene.
  13. Huge party at the Wallace Civic Center this weekend. Go to www.muckcrew.com for more info. Anyone planning on heading out?
  14. Not gonna bother with you immature fucks. Just stay in Jersey where you pieces of shit belong.
  15. Good point, that wasn't a very good comment. But, unlike others on this board I can admit when I'm wrong. You two Jersey guys should pay attention, you might learn something?

    Asian guys

That's really really untrue, and this is coming from an Asian guy. Don't turn this into a stereotype war because it's not worth it and really wrong. All I was saying when I posted my comment was that it's tough dating white women in my situation. Just my personal case not anyone elses. I definitely can't agree with the last post because my ex was definitely the best ever when it came to getting it on. Race doesn't mean shit, you just gotta know how to work it.
  17. I said that because those guys are not local djs that can show up every week. Those guys are international superstars and they obviously can't come through Boston all the time. We do have a new international and national star come every Thursday at Axis and two on Fridays at Avalon. Last week alone we had Lee Burridge, Paul Van Dyk, CJ Bolland and Scott Bond. Before that it was Seb Fontaine, Darren Emerson, Doc Martin, and Roger Sanchez. Micro and Bad Boy Bill are also scheduled for August. We also had Dave Ralph as a bi-monthly resident at Chrome. He's actually moving to Boston so be assured that he'll be spinning here a lot. You can't sit there and say the scene is whack with all these stars coming through? If you want to know, our residents at Avalon and Axis are Jon Debo, Ali Ajami, Mike Whalen, and Matthew. Just like my reaction to your residents these names probably mean nothing to you. Cept maybe Debo who does the Caffeine Culture tour and spins in Ibiza. Two different worlds here, come to Boston and check it out. You won't be dissapointed.
  18. It's one thing to take pride in your appearance, but it's another to shit on people for how they dress. Have some fucking respect man. Oh so I don't rock Gucci or Versace, that makes me trash? Right, I'm not the one with the limited vocabulary making death threats to everyone on this board. You must be real intelligent. Do you wear all that expensive gear to make up for the fact that you are some ugly ass dude that's never been lade too? And please don't shit on anyone's girls before you've met them, my ex was better looking than anyone you've probably met and has about 20 times more class than you. I've had enough of you man, not gonna bother anymore. Just come to Boston and see what the club scene is really like. I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.
  19. Right, this is coming from a guy who rocks Armani Exchange and Versace? What are you one of those meatheads all glamoured up to go clubbing? News flash man, it's all about the music up here. We really don't give a fuck what we look like. Oh and we all don't wear Abercrombie and Fitch and all that prep shit. For one thing I don't even care what others wear it's their choice. If you really judge people by how they dress then you're definitely on of those real intelligent guys huh? Hey pal, you're not the only one that can buy versace, gucci, armani, and all that other shit. Unlike you I can get girls without spending $300 on an outift. Fucking clown.
  20. Right, PVD is overrated, then why were there a shitload of New Yorkers at Avalon this past Friday? If you even had a clue how to spin you would realize that's he's pretty damn sick at mixing and track timing. I myself had 10 friends from NYC come up and we saw at least 50 others we've seen at Twilo before. If beantown sucks so bad then why is that New Yorkers, the people you think you are associated with, come to Boston to see the best international superstars? Hmm, I wonder why they don't go to Jersey, oh yeah that's right because no fucking superstar in their right mind ever passes through there!!! They all go to NYC, and by the way you guys don't live in NY so shut up about the Yankees. For Christ sake you guys don't even have a fucking baseball team! Maybe someday you'll get your head out of your asses and come up here. I actually welcome you guys so you can see what a good club scene is like. PVD, Tiesto, Dave Seaman, Mauro Piccoto, Nick Warren, and a bunch of others are planning on coming through Boston in a couple months. Why don't you drag your sorry asses from Jersey and come up here? I just want you guys to realize the idiotic comments you've been making on this board.
  21. You can pick them up at the venue. Not sure of the price though, maybe like $30.
  22. Well, I was going to throw in my 2 cents on this once again but I think Kara just pretty much laid it down to all the Jersey punks. For the last time, we don't really care about Jersey. I don't think anyone in the U.S. cares about Jersey clubs. Hell in any club discussion does a fucking Jersey club ever get mentioned? We talked about Twilo, Vinyl, and a bunch of other NYC clubs up here, and we give the New Yorkers props, but you guys for some reason feel as though you are associated some how with them. Let's face it there ain't shit to do there, bad clubs, boring cities, and I guess some awful people after talking to you guys. Hell, the only thing you all got going for you is the Jersey turnpike, and I try to avoid that too!
  23. Scott Henry and Junior Sanchez at Avalon this Friday. They're alright. Big event at the Wallace Civic Center this Saturday though. Caffeine culture tour. Headliners are Micro, Debo, and Icey plus a shitload of others. Only party open till 7 am. I'll be there.

    Asian guys

It's good to know that there are some girls out there that dig asian guys. Maybe it's just the area I live in, but I feel like it's sort of tough being an asian guy and dating up here. I've dated a fair amount of girls, all white, and for some reason it was like I had to break this invisible boundary before I was really accepted. It's almost like there is some sort of mystery surrounding us asian guys? Never dated an asian girl, my general experience with them is that they are very timid, personal, and very tight with there friends. Almost as if a lot of them have this close knit group of friends they can't leave. Guess it's because I'm not the typical asian guy, but man what is with girls and their view of asian guys? Some love us, but some just find us very mysterious and different. Any answers?
  25. Like I said on the "Envy Fridays" thread, just ignore him and he'll go away. People that are this immature and stupid just do this for attention or to kill boredom. It's obvious that he's some punk ass loser with no friends. Why else would he be on the computer all day long? Doesn't sound like he could hold a respectable job or has anyone else to talk to, so he just sits at home all day and talks shit. I'd love to see him come up here so me and the rest of my kickboxing buddies could roll on him.
