the club scene in general is hurting. The only ones it seems going to clubs are people who wanna look cool in a half empty club.

i dont think people go out as much to clubs as they use to. There use to be lines in front of Tempts, bermuda and XS. I think the scene has died down a little bit. People get tired of going out and its either a fight or some other sort of drama. Not to mention seaside rep has gotten worse over the years and people don't want to go there as much anymore. There just aren't enough people going out anymore. Not to mention $20 covers and $10 drinks some people just dont feel like spending that much Tempts had great music this weekend. Denny was definatly dropping some good beats. Glad he doesn't play hip hop though. hip hop = thugs thugs = trouble and interracial babies LOL

"poor billy" didnt have really anything to do with the place for the last 2 yrs. his business partner/ ex wife had been in control for the last 2 yrs. his death had nothing to do with anything concerning the club. it was just coincidence that they had problems with the lisence at the same time. at least thats what i heard from a reliable sorce.

tempts merge XS whereever summer or not. i am waiting for the day and sure it will come soon. The fight is going to break out where the bouncers try to control it and realize there are 10 of them fighting 10 guys that are bigger than them and they cant handle it. sometimes its funny although i remember one of those fights awhile back. its not fun when they call the police in and you get blindsided with a billyclub

the irony in all this is before it was a Gay club it was called the play pen. We use to go there every weekend. It was the same old thing diffent week someone else fighting. I guess some things never change
