At least it was fun while it lasted. I have their first video flyer and in their video flyer the state that the have purchased another warehouse that is way bigger than the current Space location. This is Warehouse 45 or something like that. So who knows maybe this is all part of a plan.

I am so confused

I am not happy with idea because of the unwanted crowds that would attracted. But is true that Radio 1 and many other streaming radio stations have played great mixes from many different Djs; such as Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk.... I just think that maybe they should have used the new station 93.1 that is still unknown but has made plenty of advertisement on tv to attract new listeners. Let's cross our fingers and hope that it is all for the best.

:confused: Let's hope that it will work for the best. I sure that Space will make sure they have control on what is being played and the cheese will stay out of the club. This our opportunity for the community to listen and recieve a lesson on what is it about "this dance music" that draws us all to it. Space has always taken risks and for the most part have been very successful in getting things to work.

As I had said previously if this is done with taste and the Djs control what is being played I am sure it would work. As long as the "commercialization" take away the originality and the feel of the music. This is something we don't want to lose since it is the music that draws us every weekend to club. I personally will support as a patriot of Space in what ever it decides to do. Especially since Space really doesn’t deserve to be criticized but should be supported. Look what radio 1 and other streaming radio stations has done for many top of the line Djs. Spacious, I know that I am just a little fish in a big pond but if you want to gather the support of your patriots, you have mine Just don't let Space lose it originality

Esance, you are right! Power 96 belongs in those type on venues. The crowd does seem much nicer after 4 am I still can't make any sense out it.

I am new on this website but definitly not in the club scene. I have been reading what people have been posting on different threads and sometimes they are just plain rude. First and foremost we all should be adults and be more considerate with each other. The idea behind this website is for everyone with similiar interest to inform each other of what's going on. But not to bash each other. Anyway, I am a little pissed off from one of the threads I read previously and I figured to express what I thought here since everyone is talking about consideration on this board. Music is my life!!! :cool:

I can't believe people can be so crue and evil to others who don't deserve it. Kris I don't know you personally but after reading all the great comments you must be an awesome person. People should be more considerate to others but I guess some of us are born on this earth to be assholes! Bottom line keep doing the great job your doing at Space I personally love the place and I am there every weekend. You can either catch me Friday or Saturday. I like switching my nights. :) Anyway Good Luck!!! :)

If the were the case then maybe can be said. But since I have worked with these stations in the past they always want to control something. Believe me the owners of Space (especially Luis) will not allow no one to come in and impose. Besides the crowds that 96 attracts are not always the best of crowds. I guess this something that needs to be seen. I must admitt if things are done tastfully then maybe it might work. But I don't want to imagine to hear DJ Laz on the radio!!!

Personally I have listened to power 96 for many years but without a doubt it is very cheesy radio station (I am originally from Chicago). For sure, if Space gets involve with anything that has to do with that station it will sink like the titanic. Besides, I don't believe any of the resident DJ’s at Space would like that kind of programming and commercialized music it would lose it originality and flavor that Space has created for itself. If you want to hear Power 96 music go to Club Deep but stay out of the real clubs like Space. Even Level that it is going through hard times would never consider doing such a thing. They would prefer to close their doors before that happens. So in my opinion, let it continue being a rumor and hopefully the owners of Club Space don’t even consider it. :confused: :confused:
