Jeter may not be the best defensive shortstop or the best offensive shortstop, but his heart is what carries the team. This is why he is the captain and this is why he is the ss for the NY Yankees.
Sorry, but if the Lakers sign Kobe they are DEFINATELY not trading him. The owners said they will do whatever it takes to keep him as a Laker so a trade is highly unlikely. Nash is a great pickup for the Suns, nonetheless.
I was listening today as well, and Howard dragged the final moments on too friggin long. The last thing I was able to hear was that Yucko, Richard Christy, and Sal the Stockbroker were in the top three. I wonder who won John's job.
I highly doubt the Diamondbacks would trade the Big Unit to the Yankees, considering they want prospects and the Yankees don't have that many to give up. But no deal is out of reach when it comes to the Yankees so you never know. There is still alot of baseball to be played so no lead is big enough but the Red Sux defense was just awful last night. It was quite comical to tell you the truth.
I understand when a player is as good as T-Mac, there are gonna be some haters. It's funny how a great "shooter" gets labeled as a ball hog when he averages a little over 5 assists a game. Both Francise and T-Mac needed a change of scenary so this is a good trade all around. The darkhorse of the trade in my opinion could be Reese Gaines for Houston. This guy has alot of potential if he can stay healthy.
