  1. I think the reason nobdy was sitting next to him was b/c he would beat the living shit out of anyone who was next to him. "Stop it Peter, I don't like that"

    Help me choose

Alright, we just bought the airline tickets. San Fran it is. It was a tough desicion but I'm sure it's gonna be a sick trip. I decided to go for the more relaxed type vacation this time and plus I've never been to Cali. so I wanna see how it is like over in the West Cast. Hey, we'll save the Miami trip for the Winter Music Conference. Thanks for your help everyone!
  3. Let the girl do her thing. Stop hatin, already.
  4. Which young pitchers are on their way to get 300? cuz a couple 20 win seasons don't make you a candidate. You have do do this for 15 years straight. No YOUNG pitcher is in the running for this accomplishment right now. Put it this way, I think its easier to hit 500 home runs now, then to win 300.
  5. Hate the spurs, but I gotta give my props to good ol' David Robinson. What a great way to end his career.
  6. Boston fans hate Roger too much. Clemens had some quality years there, no doubt. But he has the heart and pride of a true Yankee. I think he will def. go into the H o F in pinstripes. Those losing days are in his past over in Beantown. Congrats Roger!

    Help me choose

I would be leaving around July 30th. I haven't been to either place, thats why I am looking for the inside scoop. Thanks TastyT for your reply. I was looking for a more relaxing vac. this time around so it seems like San Fran is the best bet. If you can hook me up w/ some good spots to check out while we (3 straight shooters)are out there, it would be helpful.
  10. where I should go for vacation. It s between Miami or San Fran. Ok heres the deal, a place to stay is already taken care of in both destinations. So I dont have to worry about hotel or anything like that. If I go to San Fran. the Air Fare is almost nothing. So thats always an insentive. But Miami, is just off the hook, from what I've heard. So I don't know if I should take advantage of experiencing the nightlife there. What do you bump'ers think? Which is the better place to go to to get away.
  11. Me and my buddies went to AC that night but I din't get to see much of the fight. I was too busy losing. So we are leaving the Casbah and I see somebody being carried around by the casino lobby area. This guy was drawing some attention, then I notice that its Arturo Gatti. Oh man, what a scene! He was drunk as hell and not to mention all bruised up. Obviously, he was all smiles. Its not everyday you run into a welterweight champ all drunk as hell and still standing. I didn't even know that he broke his hand during the fight, thats gansta. He is definatley a character. good peoples.
  12. to 1/2 of the moderators. Do Glowgirl and Magilicuti still post here? Doesn't seem like a b.u.m.p. thread w/o them. IMO
  13. "Big Poppa"- Biggie Smalls(Ready to Die) track 12
  14. Oh my god, that was too funny. I needed a laugh. That last one about paychecks is so true.
  15. Every grand opening is the biggest and best nowadays! Then the party changes a year later and becomes even bigger and better. We are running out of room.

Yep, I think the csabah is the only club in the Taj. This is my favorite club in Jersey. If u are like me, and can't stand North Jersey(wannabe city) clubs, this is your place to go. My friends have been to Deja vu and they say its pretty good but it doesn't compare to Casbah. This place plays house music and ocassionally throws in some hip hop everynow and then. I'm actually having my b-day party at this place on Fri. Casbah is were u wanna be. Great vibe, Great music, Great people and most importantly not alot of Guidos. (They're all at club Tru, thank god)
  18. My guess is...... Matt cuz he has the heart of a WWE Star & John b/c all the trainers are on his nuttz!
  19. First of all, he was @ Exit the night before. I don't know how his set was, but he was also up against some superstar D.J.'s that night: Diggers and Jimmy Van M @ Centro Fly, DT & Limelight(along w/ Dave Waxman). So, most of the tri-state area was recuperating from the madness that went on in NYC on Thanxgiving Eve! Let alone eveyone who went out that night was broke as hell the next day so it was tuff for Oakey to draw a big crowd for Limelight. I don't think this event was even being promoted at all considering nobody knew if tickets were available or even if Estate would be open in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday. So w/ that said I think it was cool that he even showed up and played to the... what was it .....THE 50 PEOPLE THAT WERE THERE! I know most DJ's who are up at that level would have complained if they were in that situation and would not even step into the dj booth. So read the reviews from the people that actually went to the club that night and they will say he was sick and he always will be. Whether it's for an hour or 12 hours he will still bring you into that "level" that makes everyone in that club forget about everything else for one moment and enjoy the magic that he treats us with. And that my friend, is why so many people "support this guy" Paul Oakenfold. Yes, people think he is a sell-out, and they are entitled to their own opinion. But as long as he is leaving people with the satisfaction of his music, he is doing his job. While on the air on Z-100, Oakey was asked by a fan "So what do you think about people calling you a "sell-out"? Oakey replies, A "sell-out"? .....Yes, I've been selling out gigs for the past ten years!"
  20. No one has posted anything yet so I was wondering if the shit even went down. If Oakey was there please submit a review of the night. Thanks!
  21. Here are my pix for the week including the spread Chargers+3(just came off a huge win) New England+8.5 (did I read that right?Minnesota are the favorites? 1 bigwin and now they are the Favorites) New Orleans(Saints are no joke this year) Buffalo+3(Revenge game, Bledsoe will light them up) Lions+3.5(Da Bears will win but only by 1 or 2 points) Jacksonville -2.5(Dallas blows big donkey d***. I've seen it!) Steelers-10.5(Kordell Stewarts back and what a perfect team to play against to get his fan support back) Rams(nuff said) Falcons -3.5(Vick,Vick,Vick. And Rondey Peete is finally showing that he is 900 years old) Baltimore+2(Who cares!) Chiefs -3.5( 2 words Priest Holmes) Raiders -30 (that's right -30. The Raiders should squeak by this one. And no, I'm not a Raider fan.) Packers+3( This is probably the best game this week.IMO. Farve will throw for a touchdown at the end to win and cover) Houston+5.5(Giants will win but, can never blow out their opponents. Look for Houston to keep it a close game) Indy-6.5( Payton Manning and Harrison can't be stopped right now) Monday Night San Fran -7( Now that they dropped Jose " I can't hit a field goal if my life counted on it" Cortez they will be looking for the end zone even more. Plus w/o Mc Nabb I don't think Philly can put up points)
  22. Yes, we all know that Diggers & Jimmy Van will be rippin' it up. Open bar 9-10. Tix are $25 b4 the event & $30 @ the door. blah blah blah But what time will they be kicking people out? Centro fly usually closes @ 6 am if I am correct, so I'm wondering if they will let Digweed stay on longer for this event? Anyone know?
  23. I know that girl! She was @ Roxy for PVD. She has 2 eyes, a nose, and I think she had ears but I couldn't tell cuz of her hair. Here's her number if u wanna get in touch w/ her 201-867-5309. Sorry, but this one was too easy!
