Well, it has been about six months since I was relocated to the Washington, DC area for work...and I've really been missing the Jersey lifestyle (especially now that the summer is here). To my surprise, I open up the Washington Post this morning, turn to the Style section, and find a feature article on the front page about the NJGuido crew! Not only a caption, but a full page, two-day account of a day in the life of a NJ guido in Seaside. Definitely brought back some good memories, and I'm glad to see the word is spreading! LOL!

I've had a great time every time I've been. I don't know what the crowd will be like for NYE, mainly because of Metro's party (which will probably draw a lot of the North Jersey crowd). But, there's a good amount of room to dance, the bar staff is great, and the music has been a lot better lately than it was earlier this year. My two cents...

I went on one of those cruises about 3 or 4 years ago. It was definitely a good time...different than most other things you might do for NYE. The only thing that sucked was needing to go out on deck every once in a while for some fresh air...and having it be about 10 below zero. Otherwise, there is a good mix as far as the crowd goes. Dancing for people who want to dance and a relaxed atmosphere in the other rooms. Hope this helps a little!

Hey everyone~ I'm kind of new to the CP scene...but I am at D'Jais every week and would like to meet everyone from the board! Which bar do you guys hang near?!? First round on me!!!

From my experience, it does not keep your songs in queue for download the way ag did. However, if you start downloading and then close out...if you do another search and manage to find the exact same song file, you will be given the option to resume download from where you left off. But, as far as I know, that is as good as it gets. Hopefully someone will prove me wrong, because it has been driving me crazy! By the way, I haven't been able to download one friggin' song from there since ag went down! When I used it in the past (before ag's demise), it was great. Oh well.....

Driven by it a few times. It is really small (or at least looks that way from the outside). It is in the A&P shopping center next to the dry cleaner and the Dunkin' Donuts. Not sure about the music or crowd, though...sorry.
