  1. umm, ok, night bag requirements: keys, wallet (money, atm card & metro card, cell, lipstick, oil blotter tissues, gum or listerine strips or both oh, and maybe my pepper spray if i gotta commute my way back home alone. Day bag? more sh*t. everything mentioned above PLUS...pens, appt. book, lipgloss, sunglasses, regular glasses, aspirin, bandaids, comb, at least two bobby pins. LOL, various loose papers (depends if i'm paying bills that day then add a check book)
  2. what else? His heart filled with love. Now if i could only find him or he find me...
  3. my home is my refuge - scented candles, my throw blanket and something on tv. I must have music on to ride the subway when i commute. During better weather it's the local park or on a bench at the beach (if i'm not going there to tan so i can walk the boardwalk without baggage and sit where ever the mood strikes me etc). "Dance like no one is watching."
  4. i hate it when a guy comes over wearing a hat. My ex wore one all the time and it drove me nuts.
  5. i don't like wearing sweats but when i did, i would surprise my honey every once in awhile with having a teddy on under those sweats so that would leave him guessing everytime he saw me all casual at home if i had a "hidden" surprise under that big T i was walking around in that was his etc. And he didn't mind the extra effort taking them off either. lol!
  6. Curve for men and Very Sexy by Victoria Secret for men. Angel for men makes me think of warm chocolate after it's been on him for awhile.... The others i like i don't know the names. Nothing like a man fresh out of a shower with nothing but cologne on. yum! My signature perfume is Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne. It's hard to like any of the new stuff out for women - it either smells unisex or too damn citrusy!
  7. talk about having too much time on your hands. these guys are loons. He's lucky he didn't pass out.
  8. hershey's kiss. milky ways and charleston chews. Gotta have my snocaps for the movies!
  9. what would JUSTIFY someone who is "in a relationship" to still be looking on the internet???? I'd smell trouble big time and be very wary. As for "forgetting" to remove an ad once you are seeing someone - i don't buy that one either. How many were posted for someone to "forget" they have an active ad out there? More like, he/she wants to see how many people are interested in them should things not work out. Staying in contact with an ex? Hmmm...tough one. That depends. If it is on a rare ocassion then i guess it's ok but on a regular basis - NO. I wouldn't be comfortable with it.
  10. I've had this happen to me 3 times already! They have to keep coming to bleed the pipes but in the meantime i freeze so i sympathize!
  11. bed: top sheet, blanket, comforter. to dress it's tights, jeans, wool socks, looooong down coat, vest, scarf, hat, gloves - you name it! Soup and sandwhich for lunch and longing for 5pm to run back home. And i have to wait OUTSIDE for a bus!!!!! WAAAAHHHHH!!!!! <still trying to keep my radar "on" for a new male, personal body warmer>
  12. hmmm. wish i could see some pics of the guys in the revue before hand. I could use some new eyecandy. lol
  13. These folks are very real and quite serious about their fanatical beliefs - And you thought we had problems in the Middle East! These good ol boys would have women right where women are in many countries: SLAVES. Minorities would be a close 2nd on their lists and let's just throw the Bill of Rights and the whole US Constitution out the window! And of course, COLOR=red]DO IT ALL IN THE NAME OF GOD!!!! <good grief>
  14. Hope it doesn't come out too big...
  15. Yeah white lion! "Wait! Wait! I only wanna say i love you..." Prince, Great White, Journey, Whitesnake (or where they already the early 90s?) CYNDI LAUPER - what a set of pipes. Billy Idol. B52s, Pat Benatar, who could forget the one hit wonder "i ran" by the Flock of Seagulls lol...
  16. I think that was the Scorpions. Although I do remember another song with that lyric in it and they sounded more pet shop boys type.
  17. Pochahontas was good ( i liked the dog and racoon) but not really a favorite. No one mentioned BAMBI!!!!! lol
  18. I have a cat, my first male. I felt the same way after i lost my last female cat. She too died suddenly and after 9 yrs. of having her, i thought it best not to attach myself to another animal again. Until, i saw my current cutie's face... Sorry to hear of your loss but it will pass.
  19. I only rented a car once when staying at SoBE and didn't know The parking was all metered so bring lots of quarters! That is, if you even FIND parking with this conference going on. Some hotels offer limited parking for their guests on a daily rate so call and ask and reserve early!
  20. Eden Roc. Gorgeous place - right next to Fountainbleu but unless you don't mind cabs back and forth, pass on it. Have you tried The Tides? (right on Ocean Dr. so probably already booked?) The Leslie is next door and was very nice too. We walked everywhere. Delano is very nice. There is a comfort inn (or is it a best western) a few blocks in from the beach (perhaps 2?) that might be good for a budget and still centrally located for you.
