we had no idea this hip hop festival took place then till AFTER we had made our reservations etc. With three schedules to mesh this weekend worked for all of us. Who knew?

Space is an "after hours" we hear and you need a car to get there (we don't plan to rent one since we will be staying right on ocean dr.) Although i have heard of crobar and nikki (a definite must go to!), How "selective" is this opium garden?

I feel the same way. My plans are set and being originally from NY we are prepped for anything. We just wanna have fun! oh, and that card game on the corner was 3 card monte. lol

Still too cold in NYC to climb into my club gear for my b'day at the beginning of the month so I'll just wait till i get there and shake my a*s in the clubs there. We just know to be cautious of the hip hoppers and the wanna be's that may be on the drive that weekend as well.

My girlfriends and I have been planning this trip for awhile. Only after did we hear through these boards about this hip hop fest mess. I just hope it really isn't as bad this year as we have been reading. I hope the city will be better prepared. We plan to stay on ocean drive so it isn't like we could get away from it. good luck!
