  1. I just got the lawler lights out 2. Both cd's are great. But I feel that the first lights out sounded more solid. anyway, lights out 2 is on sale at tower records for $10. Yes, you read correctly. I was actually surprised to see it at such a low price for a double disc.
  2. I'm always down for going. and chris udoh is the fuggin man (tiger hook in general). I was actually disappointed about Diz not being canceled. Well, atleast one of the tigerhook operators is making their way down soon.
  3. You have to have style in the first place in order to have any say in what' stylish kid sister. Samba's are worn by frat boys. and there are MANY sneakers you can wear with khakis that won't have you lookin' like Tri lamb material.
  4. "We don't like to dance," said Mr. Arsenis, who wore a button-up shirt and jeans and had gelled hair. Scott, who looked roughly the same, nodded. "We just like to sit up here with bottles and meet cute girls," he said. .....sounds like D.C. natives at Dream or 1223.
  5. now here is a man with THE plan..
  6. I was at blue room as well (..pretty much every thurs). always a good time to be had there. It's easy to go to blueroom and not drink there. I've done it many times. I can just go there, dance my ass off and drink water.
  7. it came out t'nite at midnight. btw folks, I work at tower records now. %5 above wholesale prices isnt too bad!
  8. Ok scratch, you and I will have to go at it for this one....
  9. I'm going this week. Blue room is pretty effin' fun thursday nights. Ken you live with Ray for crying out loud and you're not too far away from adams morgan either. wtf?!
  10. I went and I had a really good time. but I was just annoyed with all the people walking through and pushing. I got there around 12'ish and caught dan's set. the man did a pretty solid job. kudos dan (what did you expect some sort of derogatory comment? hah). Personally I think that deep dish did a better job this time around as opposed to their night@code. I pretty much stayed from beginning to end. Ali ended it really nicely with echomen's track: cure (undulation mix I think). Glows patrons may be a bit rude at times but nothing beats their ventilation! Damn, that's alotta cold air!
  11. I'm definitely going out for this one. a set by deep dish starting at midnight? This could be good! I just hope they dont get too trancey.
  12. ...I think you are on to something....
  13. Yeah they are nicer but I just think it's ridiculous to pay for an accessory which can get a car or two. I'd actually pick those puma watches that have the thick bands over a "monoply-man" type watch.
  14. If Lil Kim was at the Emmy's she'd LEARN everybody with her wardrobe! Word em up!
  15. roger that. Why wear a watch that will cost you the price of a casket to get it fixed. $10,000 for an acessory? eff that!
  16. unintential or intentially, what's the difference? The next person is not going to know that unless you explain yourself.
  17. terryclothyaki's mom slings mean needles...but they arent filled with ink mind you.....
  18. I have a better idea. Why don't I grill maybe...2 thick burgers on a foreman grill. Eat them and let HER drink the remnants from that dish that catches the fat. Damn I'm so on it today!
  19. I was never a fan of Rolex. If I'm going to buy an expensive watch, but not have to take out a loan for it I would get an Omega watch. I'll just leave the Rolex's to the senior citizens rotting away while they drive their caddy's.
  20. ...nobody should take it serious. they should take it cerealessly. ok, i'm going to slap my own knee a couple of times slowly for that one.
  21. ...nobody should take it serious. they should take it cerealessly.
  22. aww rizzo I love you too? seems like you had a hard day at work. want to talk about it? I'll even warm up the cheese grater so it won't be so cold against your skin when I shave your face with it. ooo, poor baby. lol. If you don't want anybody in your buisness than you should probably sign off of this message board. Can't handle it? I suggest you go write in your diary about it and vent about why these people are being "meanyheads." --GEARMONKEY.COM--- ..is reserved for up and coming designers and well known ones as well. We've had ben sherman, breakbeat science, private circle, and acupuncture. If you think this is filth then that is your opinion. Quite frankly, I choose to be versatile so some of the stuff on here actually looks good if put together with a proper configuration. But of course I wouldn't touch any of the baggy clothing. Make mine form fitting. p.s. Don't hate on the lips. You're just mad because yours resemble a chickens. smooches. hah!
  23. When I was in school (I attended the maryland institute college of art) David Carson's name was rarely mentioned because he's not a hot commodity anymore. We all realized that he got his share of the spotlight so it's time to move on. When you say that Paul Rand was is rarely mentioned. That shocked me. If anything we spoke more about Paul Rand then Carson. ---DIRTY!---- Ok, you fucking want raw, edgy, dirty? Check out Stefan Sagmeister. His style is as raw as it gets. One piece he did, he actually etched type into the upper portion of someone's body. He is expensive to book for seminars but well worth it. Btw, nobody at MICA talked about Carson as much because he is literally an asshole.
  24. She isnt exactly "brown bag" material by any means. Am I the only one that finds that dress a bit bland?
