my friend whose promoting it only gave me light details. i know the party kicks off friday, june 28th and will be one of the few afterhours partys in nyc. he said something about it going from 11p - 10a. will go bi-weekly and as for the djs he told me they r working on booking some badass jocks from europe. party is called Airborne i'll let u guys know more info when i get it.

None of the people from Exit are running this party, or even involved for that matter. My names Dave Navarrete, I'm a college student who has always been about the music. What I'm doing is bringing my idea to the redroom. In return, I'll sell tickets and do #'s for the "big people" of Exit. "Dream" is about forging away from all that $$$ and politics of the business. Why do people continue to be so naive. Exit is charging $40/tickets and $80 at the door. I don't care what PVD's management or Exit said. Exit is the same club that swore Armin was inside spinning the night he never showed. This is the same club that hung-up on you when you called to confirm. Don't be so foolish. Why is Exit charging $80/door you ask? When PVD was at Sound Factory they only did about 2,800 people. This was because NYC fire marshals were standing outside and shut them down once they hit their limit. These same fire marshals will be at Exit the night of PVD. Guaranteed! But, while Exit has a fire code of 4,000 and change and they sell 8,000 presold tickets - what do they care? They have your money, and you're fucked! This will continue to happen untill the clubbers unite and actually speak up. After touring the England scene, NYC will never experience the europhoric passion and joy of life that they are. The vibe is gone and we once again fall victims. I just wish everyone felt the way I did and we could all pull together for change. I may sound bitter but it's only because it doesn't have to be this way. I've seen the possibilities, but no matter how hard I try >>> the current NYC vibe will not compare. Impulse: No doubt I promote Exit, that is the one venue to consistently make good money at. But, I don't respect them at all. Expecially when they inform me that I have to tell my sub-promoters that they will not let them in for free. That's a smack in the face. And even though I promote, I'm a clubber at heart. When I am told to hype a party that is charging $40/tickets - $80/door that pisses me off. But people refuse to wisen up and do anything about it. Untill they do, they'll continue to get fucked. Maybe some people like paying $80/door ~ because if they do, then what's to stop this from happening again and again. Look at the business angle. -Dave

With the heated competition that is developing between rival club owners, we, the people of nyc have really lucked out. I dunno if you would call paying $40 for PVD "luck" but wtf... Between Max Graham, Corsten, PVD, Oakie, Lawrence, plus many more.... What talent do you CRAVE but have yet to see? Leave suggestions..you might just get lucky one of these days.
