They search hard? I wasn't searched at all last night walking in the doors at 2:45. I was very surprised at that..I wonder how they get away with it. And everyone smoking cigs on the dancefloor all night which I was loving because it was freezing out. They're gonna get fined once and then they'll probably start taking it more seriously.

Most likely, you wont see a flyer until the beginning of March though. He spins most Fridays, it's rare that he skips a night.

I'd be pissed if I lost my coat check ticket....but I'd be mad at myself not the people working the coat check. I'm gonna try that next time "Hey, I lost my coatcheck ticket..but that really nice Gucci over there is mine, can I have it please!" Riiiight....I know that's not what you were doing but people have tried it and will continue to. It's normal procedure if you lose your ticket to come back at the end of the night...just dont lose the ticket next time.

It will be 90% gay but to say you'll be the only TWO in that party that is straight will not be correct. That's all I was sayin. A lot of people who went for JP still go because they love Factory...theres lots of straight girls at Junior parties actually.

I dunno why you all didn't get it...I went at around 1:30 and walked right in and I'm on no list.

The main floor was PACKED..could hardly move at points. The rest of the floors were very comfortable, a nice break from the mob downstairs. I crowd was very well behaved...I didn't see anyone too messy and no G fallouts like they're accustomed to for JP. It was a great night!

For all the people that say Junior will never pack SF like JP did...well, Junior used to pack in 6000 heads for his big events @ Exit, just like JP did for his Halloween party. Junior has a HUGE following himself who are all dying to hear Junior in a good venue again...not to mention back at SOUND FACTORY (not the same SF obviously). This party is going to be MASSIVE!

Can someone who's been there tell us what it's like? I can tell from their website it's not gonna bejust a DJ spinning music and people dancing...but will there be some of that?? They make it seem like a huge art exhibit or something...someone give some info, thanks.

The dancefloor is where is used to be...the dancefloor hasn't moved. And when I went last SUnday for the opening party there were no tables on the stage. I don't know what they do for Friday and Sat but I don't think they'll be tables up there. The only remodelling they did since Estate was with the bathrooms and all VIP rooms (Spider club..which looks great) It pretty much is exactly how it was when it was Estate.

Jeans and sneaks is perfect.

Trance? Fast? What party were you at? Danny was bangin hard slow house all night..he played some tech house which I loved then banged his way into a hard tribal set. And the crowd was GREAT, I'm confused from your post...and I'm someone who has been very hard on the crowd ever since Twilo closed...I've been going to Vinyl since 99 and now I only go every couple of months, mostly because I don't feel the crowd and vibe that used to be there every Friday. But this SUnday it was an amazing experience...fun crowd that was very much into the music and into Danny. I must say the one of the best parts of the night/day was around 11:30 am when Danny was wrapping up, playing random fun music. All the security guards were hanging out and one busted out into a dance *think one of Fat Boys gettin down to Push It by Salt N Pepa* LOL... It was a sight to see. Only about 30 people left in the place... Great night...and I hope it keeps up like that. I might have to stop by more often.

I remember seeing a article in Time mag (I think it was Time) about Twilo's system being clearest, loudest soundsystem in the world. They broke down the technology and explained why it sounded so clear.
