  1. its alot easier to talk shit than be positive about something.
  2. this thread is great. you must all remember that everyone is a promoter, DJ, and or some sorta important person that is involved with something. there isnt any party people left...everyone must take it to the next level. the club scene of today sounds like the rave scene of yesterday.
  3. Heh anyone written to their congress person about these two? http://www.emdef.org/act/ Dont let them pass this one behind our back. we stopped the Rave Act... lets make sure to stop this one too.
  4. anyone got a top 10 list of their favorite tracks that are out right now?

  6. well i am and i care. my living depends on the strenth of the electronic music scene and club culture. maybe you will care when your favorite club gets shut down due to the rave act. im sure you will. it might be called the rave act but it just dont pertain to raves.
  7. actually....that isnt what is killing it. people like you with attitudes like your own is whats killing it. although the scene has downsized....there is a decent one still going strong. you might not be looking in the right places.
  8. yup. makes me wanna pass out by 11:30

  10. yup...pretty much. the government is sneaky as hell (as we all know). we just have to keep our eyes open and watch out for what they throw on the table.
  11. the sad part is most people dont realize this is gonna have an affect on everyone....club owners, rave promoters, record labels, and even dj stores. alot of people assume its just aimed at "the rave industry" but in reality it is aimed at the entire dance music community.
  12. uuumm...ok. i guess you got it all figured out huh?
  13. hence what i said..... "before the place got tore up". when they originaly installed the system it was slammin. then they started doing hip-hop events and the place got tore up....including the sound system.
  14. yo people take a minute and do this. its important we dont sleep on this.
  15. Twilo. Octogon had a great system too until the place got tore up.
  16. first we had 80 days and nights of rain. then the sun came out for 2 months. now we get 80 days and nights of rain again. what the hell is going on?
  17. its a good spot but a ltittle crowded on the weekend. if your looking to get away from people i would head up to the apalachian trail. you can hop on the trail in several areas including warwick, NY and Vernon, NJ. there are several other hidden places with great hiking trails but if you are not familiar with the area...they might be hard to find. are you familiar with orange county, NY?
  18. try "the club" on thursday night. they do alot of hard house and hard trance. i will post the link when i find it.
