well, seeing as we were both stuck in our houses during the storm 30 min away, we kinda improvised using, ehemm, technology. UUUGGGHHHH!!!! (u are gonna think i am crazy LOL). but not being able to follow up on that made it a VERY rough weekend!!!!

yeah you guys got hit hard, that really sucks. i have family in west palm. and i totally feel for you with this: we still have intersections that are not working. even when YOU are stopping at the intersection, it doesn't mean the assholes behind you plan on stopping. one of my uncle's friends ended up in a bad accident having his car totaled because of an asshole running a broken intersection in Fort Myers after Charley. people just don't listen!!! glad to hear everyone is safe. the aftermath is the worst part of it all, huh?

i was pretty f-in lucky. i was at my aunts house during charley and i have a brand new audi a4 1.8 turbo that was already rear-ended (7K in damage when it was 4 days old) and i had just gotten back from the shop after 6 weeks....well i was parked in her driveway and when the storm was over i went outside only to see the neighbors big tree next to her driveway fallen over....but luckily it fell to the front and not the side or else it would have crushed my car! i would have given up on the car at that point. odd thing is i kept joking that a tree would probably somehow find it's way to my car since i already had the rear-end incident, but thankfully it just missed!!

mine is the 14th, so i am in the same situation as you....please don't mess up my b-day!!!!
