absolutely right. if you haven't noticed, everyone wanted bellhorn out and pokey in.....then bell hits a clinch 3 run homer in the 6th game and has been on fire ever since. SPLOOGEFEST! everyone bitched about damon then he pulled it out of his ass in the 7th game. the game threads are all about riding on emotion and posting your thoughts all throughout the game. there are game threads when i kept telling everyone 'keep the faith.....mark my words.....blah blah blah' i was trying to hold it together. the main board is not about posting on pure emotion but posting intellectual thought out posts. and P&G (not sure if you have the password) is an 'anything flies about anything' forum the sploogefests crack me up, i mean they will have a dale sveum sploogefest pretty soon after wanting his head on a stick all season (well his head still belongs on a stick IMO). and the quick turnaround on francona has been UNBELIEVABLE! even in sports guy (bill simmon) articles he turned around on his hatred for francona between the middle of the yanks series and after the victory.
