  1. I kind of felt bad that I wrote this but what the hell. Everyone has a mean side to them every once in a while. With all due respect. GET A FUCKIN LIFE GIRLS!!!!!! Not tanning does not mean that Armageddon is around the corner. Do any of you gilrs fuck? Cause if you do then that would be a great topic for a post. This whole "My ass is white", "I hate the clouds", "I'm so depressed" IS PATHETIC. If you whine over not getting any sun then I can only imagine how much you would whine if someone banged you and left you. 1 - Find a boyfriend and dedicate your time to fucking him good. 2 - If no man will take you because you are to white then try dating an albino. 3 - Stop crying over your pale ass and worry about learning how to suck a mean dick. 4 - Get a life By the way, I live in Miami so tanning is not an issue for me. Just wanted to rub it in to see how much you would cry now. LOOSERS
  2. Welcome to the board. Hope you enjoy your stay. I see you have met a few already. Don't be scared. Everyone here is actually pretty nice except for ...............

    Nayib Estefan

I met him twice. Once at the Latin Billboard Awards and once at Bongos. Both times I though the same thing you though. Just a tad bit wacky. He was cool though.

  10. I had a feeling you would like this one Eric.
  11. I'll be honest with you and I hope this doesn't sound selfish in a way but I am simply happy with just knowing that these vinyls are in my possession. In other words I never got into EDM hoping that I would land gigs but more to satisfy my craving for intelligent sounds. After all when I first got into EDM, most people I knew just made fun of the "music with no words" which left me to kind of keep everything to myself. I would say that in the last 5 years or so I have noticed the same people who complained about the music back then are the same ones asking me to hook them up with new tracks or CD's today. Anyway, I have had residencies before which only led to conflicts due to other clubs wanting to book me and the resident club restricting me to deal with others. Wasn't fun getting caught in the middle of that. I guess you can say they took the fun out of it which was a no no in my books. Don't get me wrong though, the few that I have been dealing with lately have totally proved me wrong in this case. They have been nothing but great and extremely fun which is the key in my books to actually wanting to go back. Anyway, enjoy the track. I know I have. Peace,
  12. The duo of Tone Depth and Soul Tan (better known to most as Sultan) emerged several months ago and quickly made their mark on the music scene with their deep and hypnotic grooves, emotional melodies and instruments and late night vibes. Their productions and remixes are widely respected, and their work alongside Stephanie Vezina has produced several high caliber singles. 'Broken' is their latest work with this talented singer, and has quickly become Swift Records most anticipated release, and the wait has been worth it as Jiva's interpretation on the flip is nothing short of mind blowing. The 'Original Mix' shuffles its way along, subtle layers of drums and percussion building over a moody atmosphere that slowly fades into prominence. The effect in itself is pretty hypnotic, drawing you in as it takes over, compelling you to remain. It's hidden secret is the softly spoken vocals of Stephanie Vezina that emerge, filling the void that remains as the drums intensify. The dark intensity is counteracted by warm guitar refrains and soon euphoric waves ripple through the groove, where they lead into a cascading array of sounds. Sounds that expand and fade away, and at there end there will only be you, separated in your own mind, as this track will stir thoughts and emotions that run deeper than can imagine, into even the most broken of souls. 'Jiva' do a great job of recreating the track, a rugged breakbeat arrangement setting the standard for what is to come. Stephanie Vezina's vocals are used to great effect, leading as the core element of the mix rather than being an addition to it. The beats are solid and consistent, and her vocals float in an evocative and sultry fashion right through them. Everything from the subtle sub bass changes, the floating melodies and atmospherics, to the unforgettable guitar and vocal solos will enchant you, and this is without a doubt not only one of the best progressive breaks I have yet to hear, but it's a track that will make a dent in even the coldest of souls, it's tear jerking emotion oozing out from every crevice, and you will find yourself returning to be amazed again and yet again buy it's sheer splendour and beauty. Each release on Swift tends to have that unknown intangible that brings you back to it again and again. Just like 'Ocean Of Blue' before it, 'Broken' is a track you will not forget in a hurry, and one that you will dig out and listen to weeks, months and perhaps even years from now. With two faultless mixes on offer here, and further mixes to follow from G-Pal and newcomers Stel & Good Newz, this is without a doubt the label's finest hour. Sample Here Enjoy,
  13. Shpongle - Dorset Perception (Lo-Step Baleric Breaks Mix) ??????????????????? Is This The One ????????? Enjoy,
  14. One label that has had a great last year or so is Nascent Recordings, with solid releases from big and not so big artists. This time they return with an inform producer in Blue Haze, a man that has turned in some great releases with LMR, SAW as well as Minimal. He looks to do the same with Regaining Consciousness. On the a-side is the Original Mix that flows quite nicely from the outset with smooth warm beats as well as some smooth atmospheric sounds. The track continues to build with trademark Blue Haze melodic tones taking the production in its grasp, elements that are the focus in the delicate breakdown midway in. The track closes off in style, seeing another short breakdown with smooth string patterns provide another highlight. On the flip, Mike & Adam from 3 Beat Breaks, combine as Dislodged to provide a nice broken beat remix. The smooth melodic elements from the original are warped into a progressive breaks collection of warm melodies and smooth baselines. The track flows nicely with some very solid percussive elements as well as the melodic tones. Quite a nice release here for Nascent continuing the good form they have been showing as a label. The original and Dislodges remix are both equally as impressive and as such warrant a healthy consideration when you are next in a record store. Sample Here Enjoy,
  15. I guess I missed out big time. Next time I am there for sure. As much as I was partying in the Keys.....the CP Crew and BBQ was in my thoughts a great deal. Next time. Peace,
  16. Trust me I know. Quivver (John) is def one of my favorites. John is definitely a pioneer in the underground movement. I can only describe his tracks as PERFECT. Got to love his latest release "Graham & Blades - Real". Been in the front of my crate since day one it was released. Progressive at it's best (in my books) !!!!!!!!! Definitely attending this one. "Graham & Blades - Real" John Graham is without a doubt one of a handful of producers who have played a major part in helping the progressive music scene to grow over the last ten years or so, so when he teams up with Rowan Blades, one half of the highly acclaimed and sadly now defunct outfit Breeder, it's a potentially heavyweight project that on paper shouldn't be overlooked. 'Real' is the first collaboration between these two producers, the first of several they have worked on, and if reaction to the track so far is anything to go by, it looks as though they are onto a winner. Layer upon layer of big beat percussion off the 'Vocal Mix', and it's not long before the track's crazy elastic bassline rumbles in under the groove. Chimes and melodies expire on the surface, vocal fills panning back and forth as the bassline deflates, a subtle break leading into main vox section, the breathy female solo falling between the funky synth hooks that are teased into the track as it builds. As the main breakdown hits, the percussion takes over again, spinning into a floaty and upbeat chorus, where the vocal and synth lines intertwine with each other for with damaging results, and whilst there's nothing here that one could class as rocket science, it's an effective track nevertheless. And if you have an aversion to vocals, the 'Topliner Mix' should more than cater for your taste with its's trippy dub sensibilities, dynamic synth arrangements and of course that that hypnotic top line that hooks you from the moment it enters into the fray. The bassline is left to it's own devices, having been upgraded slightly, deeper percussion rounding off the mix in top fashion, with this interpretation designed specifically to get you moving and grooving, and it's consistent results will more than speak for themselves, as you will find out. This track doesn't try to hide its unashamedly progressive roots, and comes across what it sets out to be, and that's a fun and funky dancefloor record that will get feet moving and bodies rocking. Both of these producers have put together that doesn't pull no punches, and does what it sets out to do, and it's nice to see two people have the balls to just make music that moves people, rather than music that's up it's own ass. Here's looking forward to their next release already.. Sample Here Enjoy,
