Ill be in attendance from 3/18 - 3/23. Going from San Diego.
jackcien you should get out to LA sometime - the parties are not easy to find but like others mentioned, go to the record shops or go on wanttickets and groovetickets for listings.
Do you live in SD? I go out to LA maybe 2 or 3 times a month. I used to live there so i know my way around. I usually drive back to SD after the shows, so if you ever wanna tag along, your welcomed.

Since i havent had luck with finding someone to share a room with, i think im gonna give up on this:mad:
I almost want to get a room on my own but apart from dropping more cash, its a little scary now that i think about it. Who am i going to hang with? Will there be CP meetups at the events?
I found an affordable room at the Catalina Hotel on 1732 Collins Avenue. Has anybody stayed there? I dont really care how many stars or diamonds the hotel has as long as its decent, safe, i have a place to sleep and shower.

I can spend around 275 for room. I would like to stay through the whole conference - so even if you dont plan on being there for the 5 days, something can still be worked out.

Maybe ill just go for a couple days - that way i wont go overboard with the expenses. I would hate to fly out there from San Diego for 2 days only though. IT SUCKS TO BE ME!!!

Kross - have you been out to the clubs here in SD? Are you going to see Dirty Vegas at Montage on Sunday? Im not sure about this one cause of all the people visiting for the superbowl. It could get pretty ugly and super crowded there.
Sassa - Where are you trying to move to? Do you ever go out to LA? Lately ive been going alot. The reason i moved to SD is because i wanted to chill for a while so i could get back in school and find a good job. Now after 4 years of SD, i want to go back to crazy LA.

i have to disagree with alot of you here about the set - DD was awesome!!!!
They were being a little experimental with the set but I LOVED IT!
This will be one of those unforgettable nights for me.
If the sound wasnt so loud, it would have been better though.

What kind of music do you like? There isnt much here in SD but once in a while we get good house DJs.
There is a party tonight (Thursday) at the ONYX room with Julius Papp with no cover.
Friday - Electric Skychurch Live at PURE this week, Doc Martin at On Broadway.
Club Montage has a night called FUEL - sometimes has good house DJs. Dirty Vegas will be there on Sunday 1/26.
There are more clubs that i havent been to. I usually go out to LA on weekends when i wanna go out, unless there is something going on here in SD.

I have never heard the scumfrog live but have enjoyed his Kiss set. Is that what he sounds like live? He will be here in LA on the 18th and im thinking about checking him out.

I guess I'll need you to be my guide on my next trip to LA. Every club there closes at 2A! I go 2x per year. Yea, I've heard about some underground parties, but I can never find them. Also, the MUSIC sucks! "Everyone from Cali say Yea, Yea" bites!
Ill be glad to guide you to the right places next time you come by. If you hear crap like "Everyone from Cali say Yea, Yea", you are definitely in the wrong place (LOL).

and there are other big clubs that have popular trance, techno dj's as well......it all depends on what you like......so if you think House Music is dead in LA...it's not....BUT it's not the same as in Miami, NY and London......But it doesn't suck. just a little different.
That is what im trying to say here. Its a little different but it doesnt suck.
Please understand that i am not comparing but defending the LA scene. Many people do not see what is happening to LA and have a misconstrued perception of it. Its not what it used to be years ago. I am just trying to inform people.

Im Flying from San Diego to Ft Lauderdale on the 18th arriving at 4:40pm. There is 2 of us so maybe some of us can share a ride to SOBE. Just and idea.
