Like Tranzwhore, i have a hard time getting over things and i can honestly tell you people that i have no interest in going to Space when im in Miami because of the WMC2003 fiasco. I realized then what Space was about and decided to speak with my pockets. I could careless if it exists or not either way i wont go.

Paul Oakenfold and Danny howells are headlining the Giant event. Dont really care for Oakenfold and Danny Howells is here in LA alot so im gonna wait and see who else gets booked. I heard John Digweed is playing NYE but not sure where.

You should check these guys out live if you ever get the chance. They bring out the keyboard, sax, vocalists and do a live house music set. offf the hook!!

PVD has been headlining the Giant parties for 3 years now so i would like to see them get a different headliner this year.

If i go, im getting a room also but i only want to stay for 1 night. I wonder what Spundae is doing for NYE. Anybody know? So far we have Doc Martin's NYE party - im pretty sure its going to be Downtown and 18+ at some underground spot Giant Venture - 48hour party at The Bonaventure 21+

Did anybody see the email Giant sent out announcing their party for NYE2004. 48 hours nonstop party:eek: at the bonaventure hotel. They havent announced the DJs yet but im sure the line-up is going to be off the hook. I just hope they dont book PVD again this year. I wouldnt mind seeing Danny Howells again.

POD how would you know which you prefer if you have never been to Vegas? You make it seem like it has absolutely nothing to offer when in fact it does. Drinking in the street is legal. They have dozens of hotels with sickkk pools. Alcohol is 24/7 most if not all bars/clubs/restaurants. They dont have a notable club scene but there are tons of nice lounges and venues. I prefer that it stays in Miami cause of what you posted but to go on and write about it as if youve been there 100 times is just ignorant.

Did you at least hit the free hotel parties? I actually had more fun at the hotel parties than the nightclubs.

PEOPLE save up some cash for WMC - its so worth it - party 24/7 and so much beautiful scenary.

Im just waiting for the dates to be announced so i can start planning.

I dont think it should be a problem in the future unless its a special event like the grand opening was. So many people went because of it being the grand opening and not really for Oakenfold.

I was tired from the night before so i ended up staying home. Some friends came over so we had a 420 session blasted some house music and drank.

ahhhh..i see Ive been to Miami many times and love it there. At one time i was going to move there but shit went down and i stayed. My experience with both cities is that they are too different to compare so each will have its pros and cons. Snobby pretentious people are everywhere, even Miami (ive seen many). You just have to know where they hang out at and avoid them. What other clubs/bars did you go to?

Maybe youve been out here before but if not, how can you get an impression of the club scene from 1 club?

Did you see your friend pay $50? If he did pay that much, hes dumb. I know the parking fee adjacent to the venue is sometimes 15 which sounds like 50 so maybe you just heard wrong. I didnt go because i knew it was going to be sold out and didnt feel like waiting in line for 2-3 hours like alot of people did that night. Its a good thing you left or else you would have been in line for hours and might of not gotten in.

How did you find that out? Those parking and cover prices are sooooo exagerrated. Did you end up going somewhere else?

Im checking flights to see how much it would cost to do a weekend trip for the closing party but its not looking good:( PAYCUTS SUCK ASS!

PVD usually packs them in so there should be a good turnout. Headliners usually go on after midnight so i ASSUME he will start playing between 12 - 1am.
