As much as I read.......I respect every opinion so far...... most of them have a solid argument ...... the theme or point of this thread is clear thou ....... Just got back from Maze for PR ....... no words to explain it ......... simply a club in a different league ...... I’m straight ....... the crowd was mostly “curved” ..... who cares... the music was waaaaay to gooood ...... the crowd way to vibeful ....... the club ....... again ..... doesn’t belong in Miami ..... as long as the main argument in this thread talks about the hype ....... Have it clear ....... there is no club right now with Maze’s infraestructure........... with Maze’s future ...... Is not about a liquor license ....... today Maze was flying til 6 am ........ club open til 7 am ..... it is enough time to party ...... if you experience something like tonight ....... I partied my ass off ....... with probably the best company this board can give ...... thanx Lola for the time we shared ...... it’s only the beginning........ Rest assured that place doesn’t need an Oakenfold ..... or a Digweed ...... needs only that any “clueless” clubber steps in ..... and will never change ....... not with the sound and layout this people have set....... My conclusion ....... thanx god I was only drinking tonite ...... I would have shot Ivano .... and is not his fault....... "I wish you were here"

La Covacha had DJ Burrito spinnin latin rock ....... good ol' days ..... place packed with the hottest south american chickies:eek: ....... ridiculous amount of people ...... easy 1500 to 2000 ....... WTF is wrong with yur economists GWB!!! ...... people need money in their pockets2 go out!!!

I really don't get it ....... as much as I loved Crobar ... I feel simply disappointed ..... they lost Lawler ........ they lost Lee Burridge ....... they lost Parks and Wilson ..... they lost Howells ...... then they gave a residency to Cedric ..... and kept Ivanno .... and now................. they lost who gave them the best party in 2002............................ Sander Kleinenberg ......... WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ......... he will be at SPACE January 18 ....... the Saturday after DT .......... Well ....... at least on the 31st of January they have Nick Warren ... With their current line-up ...... they are direct competition to Opium!! :laugh:

Guys ...... your party rocks! ........ don't have to say it now .... ever since the good old Rain days ....... and with DHM even further back.... It is sad to see your party leave Lola ...... it gave it a special underground feeling ....... like you didn't encounter at Rain .... I was getting sooooo used to the place with DHM's sounds ..... I hope you guys decide soon on the next venue ........ I can only see it as being a huge success ........ and depending on the venue ..... a true historic party ...... Out of the venues I've read on this post ....... there is no better place for any underground party in 2003 than Maze ...... its infraestructure and sound are simply mindblowing ...... As Laliux said earlier in the thread ....... Fridays are for sure your best day ....... especially if it involves Maze ...... their Fridays are not yet established ...... your party is ........ if they find a way to put the mainroom in action ..... the most benefitted will be you guys ..... the logical downpour of people to be exposed to the quality music you guys have established ....... As oppossed to Saturdays ...... when without any discrimination .... your party can shift towards a more structured oriented nite ....... If I would think long term ...... the Aquabooty/DHM party should be on a Friday ...... Maze is a club that can take a little bit to establish ...... but the moment it does ....... just think Twilo .... no jokes ...... no biassed opinion ....... Just imagine any given Friday in April ....... where to go? ...... no brainer ...... Maze ........ great party downstairs in the mainroom (check Globalgirls picture) ....... great party upstairs ....... and hopefully as mixed of a crowd as Miami can possibly handle ..... Sats will be cornering yourselves ....... to a second floor ...... that sincerely is big enough ...... but will segregate the clubgoers into two scenes ....... I just hope you guys find your way to a club like Maze ..... your party deserves it ...... and the underground feeling won't be lost ... not a bit ........ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ...... Joe, Thomas, and DHM ........ let next year be the consolidation of the biggest deep house party in the East Coast ..... peace ...

Underground ........ many like to use it ....... few can prove it ..... Miami has few places that can give U that mainframe ...... non of the clubs nowadays can give you that feeling ...... U might need to find out of warehouse parties ..... small gigs that will get to your ears if you are really interested ....... Music formatts that diverge from the mainstream can be called underground ...... Check put a Phat Music Sessions party .... and you will understand what I mean .........

I'm there with a pretty large crew....... miss it and regret it:D

Guys ....... you had the balls for it ........ great concept ........ It was an honor to be there listening to Jody ....... he delivered an awesome nite of great music ...... and even though it was a small crowd ....... like most of the other Thursdays ....... Jody got inspired by the response of the small crowd ...... his set was really mixed ...... and even with the little problem of that skipping record...... he managed to switch and jump the party ....... that is what differentiates a great DJ from the rest ........ As to the outcome of the BDLC concept ....... I don't believe it came down to $ to go out on a Thursday ........ the party did not have the support it deserved ...... and some of the so called promoters that joined Steven and Josh were as useless as a motorcycle ashtray......... It is sad ...... but true ...... Keep the project alive ..... refocus on a monthly basis ....... it will be a success ....... thanks again guys ..... few people have the balls to attempt something to happen ...... C ya guys very soon ..... I know ....
