La Paz is 4000 meter above sea level ;) ... worst than Calama

It will be a tough time for most teams up there in La Paz ... considering that Colombia has one of the toughest and more experienced defenses in the tournament ...

Oscar Cordoba ... Yepez .. Ivan Ramiro Cordoba .. in the world elite ...

If it wasn't for Oscar ... Colombia would have come back home with a dozen ...

Some experts believe it is better to stay in this kind of altitude for a week b4 the game ... so the body gradually gets accostumed to the altitude and its lack of oxygen ... fact is ... it is pretty unhuman conditions up there ...

Did you know water boils at 94 degrees C there? ... and the ball's pressure is higher ... making the strength of any shot much stronger ... :blank:

  3. Spoke to the peeps at No Cover today ... :D

They will be conducting an interview to Vich & Berger on Friday ... and will come to Luna to film the event this Saturday ... :)

Thanx to Isabel and her hard working team for covering this event and bringing quality electronic music to 5 million households ... :aright: ... every Friday at 11:30 pm ... on Mun2 .. ;)

Nite is shaping up properly to welcome Israel and Christian ... can't f***ing wait ... :bounce::D :D

Eitherway, some hard times, but I was really impressed on how good Pizarro and Melosevic started making some mad moves.. I think it was a very hard game for both sides, but we still had a bit more advantage over them. And if anyone likes fighiting movies, you should watch this game.. hehe:D

Anyways.. MY PREDICTION WAS TRUEE!!!! hehehehe

And as far as Argentina with Venezuela, yep.. I think Bielsa needs to do something about it, Venezuela did give it a hard time to Argentina .. mmmm I mean we are talking Venezuela here. My prediction was also true in terms of the 3 GOL difference;)

    Props to you bro ...

In all honesty ... I'm heart broken ... you guys had 1 chance (2nd goal) and made 2 goals

Peru f***ed up in falling into Chile's rythm of game ... instead of pausing ... specially after they had tied ...

Still ... it is a honorous defeat ... we need a goalie thou ... Delgado is a joke ... have said it all along ... that first goal would never have happened with me under the three poles ... ;)

    As to today's results ...

Bolivia 4 - Colombia 0 ... Maturana needs to go work at a Laundrymat ...

And Paraguay came from behing to beat Uruguay 4-1 ... Cardoso deserves to play in Europe a looooooong time ago ...

Let's wait for Brazil ... I keep my forecast ...

now there are some other well known Icons that I would not call commercial, like Derrick Carter, Felix da Housecat, Josh Wink (sometimes he plays too commercial though) etc.... oh and don't forget Carl Cox!

other underground DJ's, Colin Dale, Mark Dale and Trevor Rockliffe... also Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, Mr. C...

judging by all the great records that are coming out of Germany these days there must be a whole bunch of very underground DJ's from there that I never even heard of

AGORIA!!!! now he's super fresh and underground, though getting some recognition, even did an Essential Mix a few weeks ago

I've heard a lot of good things about Danny Howells but whenever I try to give these Global Underground guys a chance I get dissapointed, so I actually haven't heard him yet, but I'll try and make it next time he's around, if I can get comped on the cover, I ain't paying $40 bones yo!

And I certainly wouldn't miss Zabiela, he's definitely one of my farvorite underground DJ's now, though he sometimes gets a little commercial, and that seems to be in conjunction with Sasha and Digs, though my original comment was more of a wise crack, I don't actually believe that those guys are trying to corrupt him, he's just a very versatile dj who can please a variety of crowds, more mainstream S&D fans, and also underground heads like me :)

  9. About the venue ...

Many haven't been to Luna yet ... I imagine ... so let me describe what you will find :)

Recently (3 weeks) remodeled ... Luna is a trully beautiful lounge/small club ... 400 capacity ... minimalistic ... tons of space to dance ... including a repectable dance floor  ... with the right lighting for special music nites like this Saturday ...

We will enhance the visual experience with some really fun visuals ... some that convey a modern approach to funky and twisty house ... they will be a trip on their own ... ;)

As to the most critical element I found upon arrival ... the sound ... wasn't of my complete satisfaction ... therefore ... after "studying" the layout ... we are renting a professional sound system that will make this nite a true experience ... no ear bleeding ... just clean beats to shake you off ALL nite ... :D

Their bios and sets can be found at:

    Vich Berger

and for a previous thread in CP on them … click here

    _______________

Oscar Fonseca will start the nite for us … the right opener for a techy and twisty main act … Oscar has proven his versatility in the past months … it is a treat to listen to him working those bodies into the peak of the nite …

Vich & Berger … undoubtedly in a league of their own …. These two DJs and producers will finally be able to show us what all the fuzz surrounding their career is all about …

Expect some of the best music to hit the beach this year out of these two guys … a nite to come down comfortable … with enough rest on your bodies to just surrender to their beats …

Closing the nite … Cianci and Avila … making some noise lately at Nerve, BED and Luna … quality music … ‘til 5 am ;)

The nite will be re-enforced with quality filler sound to give the venue the right atmosphere for this event. Furthermore … a visual installation supplied by MediUm … which you guys experienced in past P:M Sessions events …

Thanx to Cooljunkie www.cooljunkie.com , Proton Radio www.protonradio.com , Grooveman www.chopinhaguen.com , and No Cover www.nocovertv.com for their support. :)

  11. Last week ... the only one's who let me down ... in the splitting of the points ... were the Argentinians ...

    Chile - Peru (1 - 2)

    Bolivia - Colombia (1 - 1)

    Paraguay - Uruguay (3 - 1)
