The rave act and other anti-drug policies are back in the works that target night clubs and limit our right to assemble peacefully. What I use are hearos, they have an acoustical filter tube(as the company calls it) to help with frequencies. Can pick them up at Guitar Center or even some drug stores here is a link HEAROs Take a little bit o getting used to but by and far the most comfortable ones I have used. DBH :hat2:

Dude WTF losing you hearing is not fun and that ringing can get annoying. Yes shitty ear plugs do make it sound worse hence buying the decent ones which act like pads or attenuators. I'd rather wear them so I can still hear well into my forties. Additionally I was involved with an chemisrty lab explosion and had the ringing in my ears for a month was not fun. Additionaly everyone's threshold of hearing is different, yours may be higher and could be less effected by loud sounds were others maybe lower and ae thus more sensitive to loud music in clubs. Cruising around the web, went to SPaces web site and when closing all their ads I noticed something on one of them. FOr the Yoshitoshi Party under Deep Dish it mentioned that Danny Howells was spinning a special terrace set. is there any other better way to end conference other then sitting on the new terrace listening to Danny Howells. Looking at Space's web site and all their damn pop ups flood your screen. On one of those pop ups I saw as clear as day that Danny Howells will be doing a special terrace set. I am so there no worries for invite to BED to see him can see him at the brand fuckin new space outside with the sun arising. This will be fuckin sick. Hell yes I admit it I wear plugs. I do not go to an audiologist and buy 80$ plugs but I have three pairs of hearos(sp?) one at 15 dB and two at 27dB. Have a good frequency response keeps all the highs in and muffles the lows too as well, much better then the 1k ring in the morning. DBH :hat2:

See it does not matter if a popstar can sing all they need is the look. It is amazing what they can do in the studio these days. Also we can all thank the Antarese ATR for all the boy bands and Brittney Spears today. For those who do not know the ATR is a rack mount or pro tools plug that corrects pitch, dial in the key of the song and if they are off pitch automatically adjusts it to the next closest pitch in that key but adds alot of artifacts. Best example is Kid Rock's "Only God Knows Why" can hear that ATR workin its ass off. So we can all thank technology for allowing no talent models to replace muscians in the music scene before this the engineer would at end result use the guide vocal and let the singer deal with the lawsuits(ie Paula Abdul). Those guys I fuckin awsome. Unfortunately they have never made it big. I have Kevin Saundersons KS01 cd and it is just amazing and agressive and hard never heard house music like they spin it. Lookin for some real Detroit Techno and want to get out of Miami during memorial day weekend, last couple years there has been the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, three days long Fri-Sat-Sun from noon-~midnight and it is ABSOLUTELY FUCKIN FREE!!! , (unlles one purchases the VIP pass) but not sure if it is happening this year start lookin on the web and i will try to find toe old url DEMF . Best part is cheap airfare from FLL to DTW from Spritit and hotels are not too bad either, but that us the best place to hear it House, Trance Jungle, live acts etc. Wish someone would book them once surely tear shit it up and have many a jaws hittin the floor. As many of you knew, some dick fucks in Congress proposed the "RAVE" Act which was successfully not passed in Congress(probably for the cute acronym of the bill). Needless to say it has resurfaced its ugly oppressive head again as part of two other bills being worked on in Congress the Justice Enhancement and Domestic Security Act(bill S.22) and the Illicit Drug Anti-Proliferation Act(bill s.226). S.226 is even more opressive and far reaching then the RAVE act. This is fuckin ridiculous, so fuckin pissed. Anyways need people towrite to their senators again to protest these acts to keep our freedom. If this shit continues is similar to the snowball effect(forget the actual psychology term for it) where by doing little by little people are willing to do until it becomes massive and out of hand. This is the same pyschological tactic Hitler used with his soldiers in the concentration camps(no offense meant). Actually I would chose Apple OS over microsoft, it is based on an Unix platform(read that somewhere), its just that newly converted or just apple users in general can be annoying about MACs alot of times. :hat2:
