  3. sounds like the drugs where the only thing that kept ya going, not like you where ever really into it. i started around 19 n partied sober all the time, now i drink only and 24 years old, still loving it all.

  7. i'm still waitin to see them mammaries, she had a good set o em ~_^
  8. i heard about this a few weeks ago. It works like this, theres certain stations to tune into, so basically everyone is probably listening to something else. Its interesting.
  9. i dig that long coat, i'd rock that i've never had to pay the door guy and have worn hats up to the door, filthy sneaks n all, guess its if they feelin ya or not.
  10. nope doesnt say, i think they're just gonna go on when they feel like it, but my best bet is that the major djs like pvd, carl cox and crystal method, wont go on til the floats stop and park down so everyone can just enjoy without following, like last year.
  11. i've gone in there with multicolored sneakers, lookin like dirt off the street, just have a positive attitude, I think the door guys dig that. They always seem cool with me and half the time I been there i'm wearing faded shit with dirt stained worned sneakers and my hair sticking out all bummy out of hats.
  12. if I know i'm going over a friends place to play or somewhere else to use someone elses shit, I always try to bring my own headphones.
  13. this summer blew ass, mainly cuz i been gettin my shit in gear.
  14. i'm flying out friday morning, cant wait. I went last year and loved it. Will be at the parade from beginning to end, hit up the after party and then finish it up at The End Up, I love that place.
  15. i think voters are confusing producing with djing. big difference, dont do drugs ;op
  16. thats house ;op really? i dont find headphones that uncomfortable, if anything, they get hot n steamy around the ears but thats all really.
  17. imma try to post a short clip a friend of mine recorded of Chemical Brothers and show thats what it was about. No denying that the sound blew monkey ass no the main stage til they came on. I dont really know what the deal was, cuz I remember at one point during oakenfolds set, the sound went up for a few seconds really good and then the rest of it was distorted as shit. Low bass and just horrible. Timo seemed confused the whole time and it took mylo forever to set up. I still want to see another ultra here in NYC or more events like this. It bites always having to travel down or across the country or even another country in general to check out events of this sort. Heres to hopin they do it right and better next time
  18. yup, i remember clubbers n guidos being really rude, they where all so nice at ultra, it was refreshing.
  19. i think they could pull it off proper in Flushing Meadows park, that place is huge, easy parking and transportation. Crikes, not everything has to be in NYC or bordering it.
  20. Damn straight i'm being stereotypical, I used to be a raver, I know whats up. As for Ultra in NYC, bombing, hardly. It wasn't the greatest shit since pussy but it wasn't bad for a frist event of its kind in NYC. They did it small to be safe and sold out, grabbed headliners locals are familiar with and tossed in a hell of a major headliner. Chem Bros on tour cost the same to see, I paid 50 beans, got to hear some DT which I never heard before and was impressed and a few others that I never really pay mind to, that played their hearts out. The main stage was the only real prob and that seriously does suck, but like I said, I wasn't there for them. I was there for Chem Bros and they delivered it proper. In central park, surrounded by trees and the city itself. Granted its not as big or proper as other events world wide, but as a first for NYC, baby steps to something greater I hope.
