ya - you're right though I don't like the bass quality...I have to find the middle ground because its too damn loud in the studio during mixing - nearly busted my ears out...but I cannot get the iriver to record at a good volume ---I'll find it - it was just a 1st pass at recording on that thing.

  12. 1st you get the money...then you get the power...then you get the respect...eh! ...just dont get caught in you mansion with a mound of cocaine...one machine gun against 20 - will never win!
  13. Never happen in Miami or at least not any time soon - people here in general are too in the moment on superficial commercialized dance music...call it uneducated - call it a basic lack of real interest in the music and a willingness to accept what they are force fed over the radio waves as the gospel. As long as 95% of the radio listening population here in Miami accept this as a true medium of our art form the program directors have no real need to put any effort into searching out diversity and/or cutting edge music that truly represents our culture…yes sure they are about money…I believe 1st and foremost over-all….they may have a passion for music, but money and the boss in the ivory tower will always dictate what is allowable….that is anything but ignorant – its smart business…and if anything its just a general disregard for quality over quantity. Now you will have people here that will say programming like this (cutting edge diverse dance music) doesn’t work blah, blah, blah – but you have to examine the market…look at places like NY, Chicago, Dallas and I would assume there are other markets that pertain as well – all those cities have and still have successful underground programming on mainstream radio stations – they follow a basic formula similar to what is presented above….weekends Fri/Sat late nights – in Chicago alone you can go all the way back to WBMX (Hot mix 5) – Farley Jack Master Funk, Hurley…Bad Boy Bill…to stations like B96…to Q101 with Justin long…and last but not least WGCI. All have successful non-mainstream dance programming – but that city (Chicago) is musically diverse and a more educated scene in general and I can say the population in numbers alone permits for such diversity…its all in the numbers. Until there is a sizable demand for the music we love here in Miami to be played over the mainstream waves, the supply will always fall short and what we will get is the highly processed preservative loaded cheese for the masses when the cultural core of our scene so obviously longs for the quality edgy music we know and love.
  14. why thank u kind sir!
  15. goes from 8-5am I believe 8-10 is open format.
  16. that ODB remix is off the peaches label (dan x and honey's label) - I'll have to see who actually did the production work...it came out like 3-4 years ago. That hoes track might be a re-edit by none other than the main pimp daddy host of the night Seth Shore...he's tricky like that... hey you didn't seem to like it when I dropped prydz - 321 w/the sweet pussy pauline accapella over it....wuz up wit dat? to much miami for ya...not use to me swerving off the beaten path of chicago jack eh?
  17. ya we ALL were...oh my fukin head - just woke up - never drink three different types of vodkas...never drink 4 different types of vodka drinks....never drink beer right before, during and after drinking all of the above.
