Now for the REAL HISTORY buffs here are 2 threads i made a few back one was abou an article called DEATH OF THE SOUNDFACTORY (1995) which was about the original one on 27st http://bbs.clubplanet.com/new-york/254131-death-sound-factory-1995-a.html The other is about when the CLUB KIDS from limelight were goin to SOUNDFACTORY on 27th street for the first time. And for those who dont soundfactory 27th street was opened in 1989 and was a direct desedent of the PARADISE GARAGE and built towards that crowd and music at first. Esepcially since junior spent many yrs at the garage. The crowd was bascially alot more black,latino,gay, and dancers and music heads of all walks of life. Limelight during the disco 2000 days was a lot of glam with harder beats. So 2 very different worlds. Well actually EXACTA wont be on until 1am. From 10-1 am you will have the URBAN RELIEF PROJECT, LOLA then exacta until 4am. And then KEITH BLACKSTONE, trust me once keith gets on you wont need to go to boris. Its STIMULUS>RESPONSE w/ EXACTA in that main room tonight, not only him.

How about no talk of soundfactory 27th street and soundfactory bar, red zone, the saint,etc. That was some of my grief with it it was a english documentary so once they got to london in pt 2 they forgot what was happening in nyc and chicago in this doc. Sadly maybe one day a real ENTIRE house ,usic doc will be made.
