FOR WHAT? i hate questions like this. What do you consider things to add to a "HOT SPOT" pretty people, people who drink, celebrities, music driven parties with famous djs, dancers, costumes, what?

ive been to this party a few times after other parrties and b4 work, music varies from dj to dj have yet to still hear mike negro thoughc ause i have to leave at 8am for work. But ive had fun in my own spot and corner. Def an interesting mix bag of people go to this party. Check it out.

I live in brooklyn born and raised, but wanted to let people know who are from that area bout this party thats happening on sat the 26th. I dunno what normally goes on thier but for the FUNK/TION party will be about deep, sexy, percussion-driven tribal house, check it out if your free and around.

One Night Only on Thanksgiving Weekend Saturday, November 26th @ The Lazy Lounge 152 Mamaroneck Ave. White Plains, NY Ladies Drink Specials till 12:00. No Cover All Night. The Funk/tion crew heads up north for this thanksgiving weekend affair featuring The Shigulators Sean Cormac & John Cacciatore with Jimmy Lopez on live percussion. They bring their signature sound of "deep, sexy, percussion-driven tribal house". Jimmy Lopez entertains the masses with his unique percussionist sounds while Silverbull keeps the floor pumping with his dancing madness. The Shigulators have shared dj booths and rocked dance floors with the likes of Djs: MERRITT, JOHN CREAMER & STEPHANE K at high profile house music venues like LOTUS, LE SOUK, CENTRO-FLY. Right now the weekly FUNK/TION party in the garden at le souk has been growing into a great weekly party for people to let loose have fun dance dance dance and hear some great music from the shigulators and various talented local djs. DEEPHOUSE cd are DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE i say get them all. CIELOS cd is great, look for the SHELTER cds. Miguel migs, ben watt, marquess wyatt, are all west coast deeo funky house. For NYC deephouse i suggest you go to SHELTER on a sat night/sun morning and feel the vibe that no other dancefloor in nyc has besides the 718 sessions. And while your at it pick up some of the cds there selling.

I know your not getting into a history lesson with me now. Do a search on here about larry levan and the paradise garage and you will see everything ive put up. And just so you know real quick your history, PARADISE GARAGE was owned by micheal brody who opened READE STREET with larry b4 the garage and discovered larry after hearing larry play at the continental baths where him and frankie knuckles were playing music and djing which they learned from THE GALLERY with NICKY SIANO who taught them how to play music. And nickys gallery was insipired by the mother of everthing that is nightlife and after hrs over at DAVID MANCUOSO THE LOFT in 1968 when the loft had its first party. And a few weeks ago the loft celebrated 35yrs of parties. With people from all over the world coming to it.

gonna be a great night thats for sure. Man jerry how can you miss it lol. Last month was insane.
