I will not give Rod's opinion any merit. I do not believe he knows what good sushi is...For my B-day I ordered a ton of Sushi...it was the worst rolls I ever had let alone looked at....It resembled a 2nd Grade Clay Art Project.....Rod thought they were delicious and beautiful! He ate about 60 of them.

We must not forget that Sushi Grade Fish you find in the Jersey Restaurants goes through a "Zap Freeze" process...it is quickly frozen to destroy the bacteria...I prefer cold rinsed sashimi where it is not zapped...The freezing process disrupts the texture of the fish.

Tomoe, Yama, Fujiyamma Mamma and Sushi Samba have the best Sushi.... I will be the judge of Circa....but from what I hear it is pretty good...... To be honest...even Brix in Red Bank is fairly good...But Jersey Sushi is just not comparable to Fulton Street Sushi Grade Fish unless you are driving there everyday to pick it up.

Scoops & Cranberry for sure! Didn't make it Circa...had to stay local @ Breathless ...
