Hey Bolts While there are some amazing venues down here, I'm not sure that you'll be very impressed as I see that you are coming from Toronto...I can tell you first hand because I am from Toronto myself. You know as well as I do that some of the best performances and acts in the world can be found on College, Bloor and Dundas streets any night of the week. Not to mention their range in diversity. Anyhow, when visiting miami you must go to Space, crobar, Mansion, Opium Garden, Nikki Beach and especially Nerve. These are clubs you have to go to for the "Miami experience". It's the Equivalent of telling a visitor to Toronto to visit Guverment, RPM, The Docks, Miss Saigon eTc. You know there are better smaller venues that may be more underground, but these are the places a visitor would feel more comfortable and would enjoy the experience no matter what. Norman Cook... My biggest influence when it comes to spinning and producing. From the late '80s- The House Martins to Now, this guy is incredibly talented and always fun. Can we please get him down here in Miami? It's been years since I've seen him in Orlando and Toronto. Is his style not apealing to Miami? SS I forgot to add also, that event Live From Brighton Beach is on DVD - highly recomended!

i've got the 600's 7506's and the 7509's My 600's are work horses but just recently broke, the 7506's i've had for a long time but i use them primarily for reference when recording. I'm using my 7509's for dj'ing all the time now...they're GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRREAT SS

Monday was a very good nite for me. I had plenty of fun, their were definitely plenty of hot chick der. Not to mention I was enjoying the drinks. Mike and Eric were right on target, i just think MIA should've let people know the upstairs was open...I talked to plenty of ppl and they did not even know their was an upstairs. Also VERY IMPORTANT: open the bar upstairs:idea: I had to go downstairs every 10 mins to get a drink. Mike and Eric made it so fun, that I had to jump on the decks at one point...and im not really into trance. Had a great time doin it! One last gripe: after looking forward to the food at MIA' and talking it up to my friends that were visiting that day, I have to say i was very disapointed with the service. I ordered pasta but did not get my salad...no big deal. I paid the bill and never got my F-ing change...I just felt that was very disrespectful. I tip very well and I spend money when I go out especially on drinks...you guys know this if you seen me doing the Carlton. Since I don't like to make scenes, I'll just go to MIA' to support from now on. No dinner there every monday, even if it is some of the best Italian i've had this far south. Looking forward to seeing some more cp dj's there in the future. SS:D
