Thanks for the kind words and support. It has been a lot of work but I can not imagine anything more fun that starting and selling your own booze brand. While Pacult's review is nice, I like to hear that you guys like the taste. Ken

I doubt many of you have heard of Paul Pacult and his Spirit Journal (www.spiritjournal.com). He is well known as a reviewer of spirits and respected in the field. Paul is also the author of several books about spirits. In addition to writing the Spirit Journal, he also writes for the Wine Enthusiast Magazine. In a recent article in this publication entitled "Spirits of America," Paul lists Zygo among "some recent triumphs from America's better distillers." Zygo is given a 90-95 "Highly Recommended" rating. He writes that "this spirit is something special" and that it is "delectable......born in the USA." I was worried that Pacult would view Zygo as a fad item and not call attention to our spirit credentials. I expect a more detailed review in the December issue of Paul Pacult's Spirit Journal. On another note, we have heard that we are a finalist for the "Spirit of the Year" review conducted by Food and Wine Magazine. Keep your fingers crossed. Lastly, the people of Georgia, Nevada and Wisconsin can finally taste Zygo starting next week! Pardon the commercial interruption. Ken

i should have gone to nyc and hung out with my partner ron. the sob calls me about 11pm just outside centro-fly. centro has been closed the last couple of months for renovations. according to ron, it is nicely remodeled. anyway, if ever in nyc, check out centro. they are great friends of zygo. in fact, it was our first account. ron is sipping zygo and listening to the chemical brothers and i have insomnia!! ken

Good question. First, we are focused against bars and restaurants, not liquor stores. Bars are key to getting the brand in people's mouths. Most folks will not buy a bottle of something they have not tried. A drink only sets you back a few bucks. Second, we do not have a retailer on board with a website. We are looking but have not found a good "partner" yet. If you want to order a bottle from your local liquor shop, here is the info: The store needs to order it from Horizon Beverage Company. They know Horizon as they have to order things like Jack Daniels there. The code number for Zygo at Horizon is #024500. A store can order a single bottle or multiple cases depending on your wish. I send friends who live in MA near the border with New Hampshire to the state liquor outlets here. All of the NH stores carry the brand. The MA stores are independents. Some carry the product but often wait until someone asks. Thanks. Ken

hey, thanks for the zygo traffic. i did not even have to start it this time myself!!! i just logged in after being in the Magic Kingdom for the long weekend with the family. being on disney property is like being in another country. here is a funny (from my perspective) disney story: we ate one night at the brown derby restaurant which is at the disney/mgm studio theme park. our waiter shows and wants to take a drink order. he tells us the drink special of the day which is the ZYGO bellini. after i picked up my jaw from the floor, i ordered one. as zygo co-owner, that was a great day. it is not easy to get anything sold on disney property. ken

Hi, You work for Premier in Florida? There is a push in Florida but no advertising yet. We recently hired a salesperson in the market as well so the push is on. We are happy with our account base. As you know from your computer system, Zygo is sold in a slew of on-premise accounts including the Hard Rock Hotel (Orlando), Palm Restaurant (Orlando), PF Changs (Orlando and Boca Raton), Flute Champagne Lounge (Miami Beach), Clevelander (Miami Beach), etc. Glad you like the product and join the push.
